Seems sturdy. Decent value.
There are a ton of mirrors for UTV's but I picked this one because CIPA seems to have good reviews in general and this one sounded sturdy. When I got it I was happy it seemed to have an all metal bracket and metal ball-socket arm. The mirror itself and lens is acrylic plastic, but that's fine. The convex mirror really lets you see everything behind you and way off to each side, it's not like in a car where the roof gets in the way.The arm allows you a lot of flexibility in how to position it. In my case in a Kawasaki Teryx the top roll car bar is not far enough forward so I adjusted the clamp bracket and arm to hold the mirror as far forward as possible. The only problem I had was during installation, but I expected it actually. Once you spring the clamp open far enough to slip it over the roll bar, then it was difficult to line up the holes, I had to file the top of one hole a little bigger to get the holes to line up and get the bolt through. It was too loose to fit on my 1.70" diameter bar (the top horizontal tubes are slightly smaller than the rest of the vertical roll cage bars)... but no biggie I cut a strip from an old bicycle inner tube to shim it up and to keep from scratching my paint and also to help grip it so it won't rotate.Haven't used it yet on a trail, will try it out tomorrow and attempt to report back.UPDATE: Ok it worked fine on a rough 4x4 trail. For the Teryx it really is still too far back but that is the way the Teryx horizontal roll cage bar is located and not the fault of the mirror. In fact the long mount arms of the mirror helped move it more forward. I actually moved the mount backwards to the front side as much as possible. Also in the picture the little piece above the mirror that looks white is actually just a camera flash and it is all black. Looks nice.

Excellent utility mirror!!!
I was skeptical after reading some of the reviews however this is a utility mirror and not you typical automotive mirror. it is convex (curved) and objects will appear much further away like many passenger side mirrors on automobiles. Now for the mirror itself is well built for the money, excellent visibility. I mounted on a 2011 Kawasaki Teryx Sport 1.75" roll bar as a rear view mirror it fit well with . I had to flip the mount by undoing the 2 screws from the ball socket then flipping the bar bracket around to move the mirror forward as it was to far back for good visibility from the drivers seat. At a glance I can now see other riders behind me in the pack. There is a wide angle view so I can see either side of the trail behind. I can actually see out to the sides just behind the seats. I would not use this as a side view mirror as it is to convex. For those of you who want a mirror you can back up within inches of a tree without looking over your shoulder I wouldn't recommend this one.

Great Quality-Tricky installation
I really like this mirror but installation was a tad tricky on a JD Gator. I wrapped the roll bar with sticky velcro to ensure a tight install on the mirror. The nuts and bolts for the clamp for the mirror were not long enough to accommodate the diameter of the roll bar, but nothing a trip to the hardware store wouldn't fix. Bought longer bolts and it went together fine. Great looking mirror, and very solid mount on the frame. This mirror isn't going anywhere! Great value.

Good quality for the money
Overall it's a good mirror, especially when you price some of the well known brands. Since it is a convex mirror, judging distance can be tricky. The box it comes in says it's for UTVs without a roof, but it worked just fine for me and I have a roof. I also flipped the tube bracket over because this made it sit up higher.

Great UTV mirror
Mirror works great. It does not rattle or shake when riding. I mounted this on my 2014 rzr 900 4 seater. My only complaint was mounting it was a little more difficult than it should have been.

The view is great but the quality is so so
The optical view of this mirror is great. But the quality of the mount is so so. Ours broke after 1 year. The arm that extends from the mount to the back of the mirror just snapped. Not sure if the vibrations got to it or what. Otherwise we we're happy with it.

Good Idea, Poor Execution
Although the design of this mirror makes it attractive for any low profile application (for instance, if you're installing a windshield and you don't want the mirror to obstruct the installation), the piece is very cheaply made. The first time I went to adjust it after installation the ballsocket popped out, rendering the mirror useless. There is NO WAY to get that ball back in. Also, if you're finicky about your UTV like I am, you won't like how the mirror attaches as it leaves scratches on the roll bar. Overall very dissapointed and had to return it. Amazon, as always, was great with the return and getting my money reimbursed.

works great on my rzr
works great on my rzr. can't complain about it. I have rode about a thousand miles with this mirror on now and works great. the only time it has moved was during washing the rzr. just placed back into position and never moved during riding. would definitely purchase again.
