would have given more stars, except that mounting only allows for sticky tape (no way to screw on to a surface) . GOOD size, sound level, ease of operation, range of remote to device. The stand alone 'panic/sos' feature is great. Motion sensor/detection would defeat the purpose. A similar one rated for OUTSIDE Use with the same features would be extremely useful.

We have 10 of them on windows and doors. We feel more comfortable having them there. We put the remotes on convenient places so going around the house to turn them all on or off just takes a minute.The sticky pads seem to be loosening some. We are happy with the purchase. We’re glad we got the ones with the strobes

My girlfriends son doesn't realize when he's screaming at the top of his lungs when playing video games. I'm using the "panic button" to let him know he needs to keep it down. I've been running to his room over 8-9 times a day asking him to stop yelling (which he does within 1 minute of my leaving the room). Now I just press the panic button, no more running in over and over.This thing is LOUD! he can't ignore it or tune it out. I've asked politely over and over for 4 months and it hasn't helped. At a minimum I won't have to go upstairs, open the door to his room and ask him to stop anymore. It's seems like a drastic measure, but I'm tired of having to go ask him to stop screaming, he can't hear me when I yell back (and I sang opera) because his own yelling is so loud.

I did a lot of research before choosing this one. I’ve been so pleased. We have the sensor about a foot above the floor on the wall catty corner to the side of the bed my 85-year old Dad always uses to get up. Before my Dads feet hit the floor, the alarm goes off and I’m able to get up and help him to the bathroom. We’ve had the device for six months and my Dad has not had a fall since. This device is a lifesaver. He has dementia and forgets his walker and I’m so grateful to have found this.

The thought is there. The problem is that it won't stay attached to the door frame or door. The settings for alarm mode won't apply, it just goes off continuously..yes I read the directions. Love the clicker button though that was a great addition

Got this for my sons room. Got tired of having to stop what I was doing because he wouldn’t answer when I was yelling for him, texting or answering his phone. Only had to set it off a couple times. Now he comes running.

This is a pretty good alarm! I live in an apt on a busy street by myself so I was looking for something cheap and easy to install to give me some peace of mind. It’s super loud and works well! I like how the light blinks when the alarm is on so you know it’s working. The only thing that concerns me is that the alarm part of it did fall off the door after two days. I re stuck it with some added reinforcement but I am worried that it will fall again while the alarm is set and go off (it’s so loud I know it will wake me and my neighbors and cause a scare! Would hate for that to happen if it was a false alarm). Other than that I am super happy with it.

I need to figure out how to connect my forst remote to the new alarm how do you use my old alarm pad for new door alarm

Used this to arm/alarm the storage closet in the condo basement as a deterrent. The alarm dB are really good and loud enough. Had to to adopt to fit the frame of the door and frame of the closet. After a few months the double sided tape released and the alarm fell off as I opened the door ... thankfully the alarm had been disarmed. I had to use clips to hold the alarm in place.
