Looks sturdy but trash inside
Peels wood for tinder very well. Nice and sharp. The curved cut out on the back side works amazing against a ferro rod or fire steel. Thick blade and won't bend or break but the handle can easily. Already cracking and the screw holding it in is falling out right away. Very cheap constructionUpdate: my friend threw it to me in the sheath and it hit a rock and the sheath shattered. Also the handle has been cracking since before that

Dont buy this garbage
I would give it half a star if I could.the blade arrived and it was dull enough that I could probably give it to my dog as a chew toy and not worry about it cutting him. i spent hours sharpenning so it would have a half way decent edge, and the edge still won't hold to a chop. so the metal is not heat treated. the edge is also way off center to the point i had to rework it on my belt sander to get it centered for a proper edge.the sheath has no direct way to lock the blade in and instead relies on a buckle system that is so backwards it doesnt even lock. and theres no easy way to secure it to a belt or leg without buying extra straps from walmart.and the blade isnt properly balanced to save its life, the center balance point on the blade is almost an inch in front of the handle.id say the things this blade has going for it, is it looks cool and is cheap... but in this case even the age old saying "you get what you pay for" doesnt describe this blade... ive bought $5 blades from walmart that arrived in better shape then this thing.i guess you could give it to you 5 year old fresh out of the box for him to go play army with and know he wont be able to hurt anyone...

Great Halloween Prop!
It's fine. It's cheap. But keep in mind you get what you pay for…Plastic sheath that feels more like a Halloween accessory. Equal feel to the handle. It arrived extremely dull. First tried it out on a piece of paper. Didn't make a mark. Then I whacked my arm with the blade several times. Again, not a mark. Bought a sharpener, hardly made a difference. Whacked my arm again - which is not an official test of sharpness - and not a mark. Other Reviewers who did get it sharper than delivered said it would not hold.Am returning and buying a quality blade, like a Buck Heritage. Don't want to be out in the wilderness and have to cut something and have an ineffectual blade. Or have the plastic handle break. Or have to throw it (as other Reviewers have stated, there's zero balance).

Good grip, nice sheath
It's a decent knife for the price. Good grip, nice sheath. The blade had almost zero sharpness - going to take it to get sharpened.

Great For Camping/Survival/Self-Defense
This knife is a great size for open-carry in California (except Los Angeles, San Francisco, and maybe other specific states). However, it is a little heavy for my preference as it brings down my pants making me have to uncomfortably tighten my belt. It's good for chopping, slicing, cutting rope, etc. The worst thing was that the back of the tip of the blade was not even. Also, it's sharp on one side but not the other when running my thumb horizontally across the blade to test sharpness. I loved the grip, it's kind of rough but fits comfortable and makes me confident in not losing my grip on it. The sheath was also a little too bulky and should have come with leg straps to ensure that it does not move around when walking or the end being in the way/bumping into things when sitting down. For a Bowie (also kind of a kukri shaped knife), it is a great price. Have yet to test it chopping woods. I love the way the sheath can be put on and off my belt with ease, but the clip mechanism that holds the knife in place takes some getting used too drawing it out quick.

Not Bad for price, u will need to re-sharpen
Decent knives for the price, it's not a Buck Heritage...but Comes with a semi sharp edge, but does razor up nicely with a good stone. I did the research prior, so I knew what I was ordering... good for making quick work of a large fish and branches for fire on camping trip.

Hoping the blade was 12" but it's not

Its heavy and feels good in your hand
The reason this gets 5 stars is the protective sheath. Most come with nylon and cheap velcro. Not this one. Its heavy and feels good in your hand. Purchased 4 of these knives for each family member. We hunt alot and this knife is part of our gear.

Great knife but....
Great knife only thing I don’t like is the small weak weld holding the blade to the handle

It's a good knife over all.
The saw works great. Blade is a little dull but not a big deal to sharpen. Handle is a little heavy for throwing but over all its a good knife. Wish there were straps that came with it.
