It was Valentine's Day 2015... and it was down to the wire for me, trying to find the perfect watch for my boyfriend. We just starting dating, and while I wanted to get him a nice watch, I also had a budget to be mindful of. Additionally, I also wanted to pick something out that wouldn't necessarily scare him away. Long story short, I opted to buy him a watch... but not just any watch - a wooden watch! So, one week prior to Valentine's Day 2015, I chose this specific watch. This type of watch was totally unique - taboo perhaps in the world of watches because of its material... wood! This particular Temse Mens Dark Sandalwood watch is perfect for both dressy and casual occasions. This is truly a great conversation time piece.

Elegant and Lightweight
This has been my daily wearer for the past 6 months or so. I was previously wearing a Nixon with a fiber band, that would get stinky from sweat / bacteria after a week of wear. The Tense doesn't have any odor issue whatsoever. Furthermore, you hardly notice the fact you're wearing a watch because it is so light, compared to a similar style watch made out of metal.I've gotten numerous complements on this watch, one from the big boss man which was great. People are usually very incredulous, and will ask "Is it really made out of wood?"About the only issue I have is setting the date. If I change the date and it is before noon, it seems to change to the next day after noon rolls around. Annoying, but I'm sure there's a way around this; time to RTFM...

Yep - Another Awesome Time-Piece
Yes, I had to buy this watch because I couldn't make up my mind between this wooden watch and the Tense Dark & Light Multicolored Mens Wood Sports Watch G4100DS ANDF. I'm so glad I did go ahead and purchased bot,h because my husband not only has the same problem when selecting which one to wear; he still can't believe the watch is made of wood and is so well-made. I highly recommend this unique and handsome watch!! You won't regret purchasing either watch as a gift or for yourself.

When I first received watch I was unsure if I liked it and if it would fit , so I ordered another style but ended up keeping both and give both to my partner for Christmas. He loved it and I felt great about my gift. Also ordered watch case.

I highly recommend this watch if your looking for something unique. I bought it for my boyfriend as a birthday gift and he loved it! Most people don't even know wood watches exist. The sandlewood is light and completely functional. The color was gorgeous and its only improved with age. Very impressed with this watch!
