Realgoal 2GPM UV Water Purifier 16W,Inlet/Outlet 1/2" Male (Add 1 Extra Lamp)

First off I did not use this as intended like another reviewer, I used it for a low pressure aquarium set up, and it's worked perfectly for what "I" intended! Hooked it up to a small power head turned to its lowest flow setting, a couple 90's, and a quick connect bulkhead I had laying around, and it was up and running in an hour.No leaks! I checked quartz sleeve and o rings and checked flow before installing lamp and all good!Can't say for quality of lamp and transformer as I will replace with quality when they go...but stainless body housing is heavy and polished inside and out which produces a blue glow of the exit PVC letting you know how intense light chamber is, and that it's working.In my opinion way better than inside white or black PVC! As I've owned them both!I'm very impressed with a 25w UV completely serviceable for $119. It cleared my 65gal tall in 48 hours of algae bloom. Crystal Clear!Extra bulb nice incase it doesn't last, but so far so good!Happy, Happy fish! Thanks Amazon and Realgoal!

Although it is a good idea for purifying water, it's not suitable for ice makers.

This is designed and built better than the ispring that cost 2x as much.

After installing this sterilizer I immediately noticed the smell of ozone in the water. Ozone is toxic for humans and while the sterilizer could be an excellent choice for swimming pools treatment it is dangerous to install it on the drinking water supply. I'm really surprised that nobody else noticed that before and I'm really worried for the health of all buyers that drink water directly after this sterilizer.

This unit is solid. It is also packed unbelievably well, which surprised me when the quartz tube was damaged. I contacted them quickly and received an equally quick response and tube replacement with zero effort on my part.Installation took less than 5 minutes (although, I spent about 30 minutes at a plumber shop making certain that I had the correct fittings for my new filters and the uv light to hook up to the inlet, joiners and tap).This unit is extremely well made with great support if required.

Easy to install and works well. Very happy with this product.

No instructions on how not to break the glass bowl inside. Slide the bulb in varry carefully
