Nice swim buoy with many benefits
I bought this for my wife to get more comfortable with open water swims (she’s fairly new to longer triathlons), but it has so many benefits that I will likely by one for myself (very experienced with open water swims). The benefits:1. Much better visibility in the water. This helps swimming partners, boaters, etc, see you much better.2. Holds things securely and dryly while you swim: keys, phone, etc. It’s not a big space, but just enough.3. Allows GPS tracking while swimming! My phone running a popular GPS athletic app tracks my swims perfectly when placed in the dry bag compartment.4. While nobody would or should call this a life-saving device or swim aid, it is a handy floater just to take a quick rest or adjust your goggles. This swim buoy appears to be well made. It inflates and deflated quickly. It is very comfortable in the water, with no appreciable drag or effect on swimming. One minor issue: there are no instructions on how to attach the strap to the buoy. There are two secure attachment points on the underside, and I just figured out something with the strap that worked for what I wanted (loop around one attachment, through the other, then to the belt).Overall, a nice swim buoy with many benefits and well worth the cost.

Concerns
I like the dual use concept, and got this to use while I snorkel. I do have concerns, in that I live in a tourist area where there are a lot of inexperienced (and less than sober) boaters, and I'm concerned that instead of protecting me, this float will *attract* the uninformed. Not actually a product issue, except in that the flag units I think are more universally understood, and wouldn't provoke an idiot to try to scoop it up in hopes of scoring some free gear the way this unit might. Perhaps if were labeled in giant letters 'Danger Diver Below' to at least warn them off at the last second. I may be making modifications with adhesive vinyl letters.

Keeps things safe and dry
I cannot swim and when we go to the beach usually wear a lifevest whenever I am near the surf. I never go in over my knees because I am so afraid so a lifevest is really overkill. This inflatable bag is perfect for me as I feel it gives me a comfort level to be at the waters edge without needing my lifevest. As a bonus to being able to float with this buoy I can akso keep my personal belongings safe.I especially like the bright orange color so that it is visible to others in case I would need assistance.

Great flirting device
I have had the float a while. I use it a lot. It's very bright so people can see you. I use it on the paddle boat and when floating. I leave it in the garage or on the patio. It holds air really well. I would give high recommendations for this product. When you take the belt off be sure to snap it back in place. If you don't snap it back together it could fall off. You risk losing the belt if you do not keep it fastened after use.

This item is exactly what I had needed
As I swim across lakes that sometimes have motor boating. Though I wear a brightly colored swim cap I'm not always sure that I am easily visible to a boater. This item is easy to use, and does not pose any drag and floats above my back making me visible. It allows me to carry my valuables like cellphone, wallet, car keys inside while i swim and keep them sealed and dry.Highly recommended.

Swim bag
Excellent, does get a little damp inside the bag. Cell phone bag I wouldn’t trust to stay dry. Easy to inflate/deflate.

Valve leaks
Got it as a gift for Christmas and now went to use it and the valve leaks. Now it is too late to return it.
