I've been using this with my MacBook 15". It has had no significant issues, but what I would say is that it uses up power, when you attach the power thru it. I tested this and with a 60w power supply I lost approx 8w, therefore instead of 60w getting to the laptop, it was only getting 52w. I tested the similar benfei and lost 5w (55w getting thru). So from a power efficiency point, it is loosing 13%. I am though generally happy with the device as it gives me display options.It is a bit of a stress point on your usb c cable having to fit in behind it, as it means generally one of your connected cables will have to bend.

Decent bit of kit. A word of caution though: - The two display ports provide THE EXACT SAME FEED. It's useful if you are wanting to either bypass your existing hdmi/vga port or use in addition to the hdmi/vga. So this is useful if you want to run say 2 big monitors from 1 laptop but it will mean plugging in this device + an HDMI cable overtime.You can get a similar product but with additional display ports which provide a feed for two different screens out of the same dock. This is a far more useful setup if running 2 external monitors as you literally have all your cables attached to the bridge then everything is connected to the laptop with 1 cable.

Being a MacBook user comes with its own set of problems. Before I was using a dongle by "Havit" to get rid of my USB C problem and get access to multiple ports - mainly HDMI and USB A. Over time this dongle stopped working properly and the cable began to wareout. Frustrated with this dongle, I finally decided to get a new dongle which fixes my USB C problem. I came across this product with a good selection of ports and had all my requirements along with the added bonus of a VGA port which helps me out alot at work. Got this product, used it for a few days and voila - my Mac was in good shape again, plus that added bonus now reduces the burden of having to carry an additional hdmi to VGA convertor with me to work again. Made my life so much more convenient. So if you're in the same group as me with that USB C problem this dongle might serve your purpose and fix those problems.

I really like the design of the product, good quality materials and durable.You can connect a monitor via type C USB on either the laptop or a phone if you have a compatible device. Its great if you are say, on the road, or travelling and you fancy watching some netflix, but you dont want to watch it on your phone. What you can do is to play it straight to the TV in the hotel room or whatever via this device. I know a few phones have wireless mirroring, but setting that up in a hotel would be a pain, with the device, its a lot easier than that.If you are a traveler like me, then this is a great alternative to carrying around some kind of streaming device, as you are always going to have your phone on you, and just plug it in with this and away we go!

The display adapter works fine, but the USB is flimsy and has completely stopped working now. Not so happy with the purchase now.

This makes a very high pitched whistling sound, like the things they put to stop young people gathering. You probably can’t hear it if your old, but it’s getting in my head and giving me a headache.

I got it from Black Friday. It therefore worth the cost. I was a bit worry if it would be a problem at my first use. Fortunately not! It’s well design, compact, and equipped with necessary ports.I am not sure about a joint between wire and adapter body. I’m pretty afraid that it would get broken after several folding. I hope not.
