CACAGOO Hidden Camera 1080P, WiFi Wireless Mini Camera with Night Vision and Motion Detection for Home, Car, Drone, Office and Outdoor Use

I tried the camera during daylight and in the darkness. It worked during the day but the video clips are only three minutes long. I wish it was more time.Left it recording during the night in a dark room, but it did not record anything visible, just sound. In a totally dark room, you can see a blinking blue light. Defeats the purpose of having a hidden camera.8/13/2019 Update: This is not a plug and play camera. You have to download an app in order to change the camera settings. You cannot view any photos while the camera is connected via USB, the card needs to be taken out and use a USB adapter to look at your pictures or video. It would be easier if while connected to the computer and charging at the same time, you can look up the contents. It needs to be connected to your home network...NO THANK YOU!It has a setting to connect directly to your phone, but it did not work for me. This is going back soon.

I was so excited to get my camera and test it out only to discover it was useless. It only works if you're on the same wifi. I tested and tested it over and over, I re downloaded the app and nothing. When I'm here at work and try to connect to my live feed at home all it says is logging in but it NEVER loads ANYTHING. between the app for the camera and the camera itself something isn't working. Really just disappointed.

Very impressed so far, but I will say I haven't recorded anything just yet, but I will be today. Powered up fine, charges without an indication (kind of a shame), but WiFi works pretty good. Range about 25' (It's small, so small antenna..) Color response pretty good for a CMOS camera. Quickly flip using app, find it relative to the icon.Will update when I know more.

Exceedingly POOR wifi switch choice. Unreliable switch Jammed in less than Two Days. 1st day worked by hooking up to my phone and only long enough to get 2 minutes of recording. Hadn't even tried the night vision yet, or the motion detection before the switch for the wifi JAMMED DOWN. Therefore it became useless. It might be much better to change the momentary switch design. It was very time consuming to get it to connect to the smart phone Galaxy note9 at first. I plugged it in to charge it up while it was operating and it got so HOT I unplugged it thinking it would burn up. I placed it in a Gallon Pyrex glass measuring jug and put aluminum foil over the top in case it burst into flames while charging so it wouldn't catch anything else on fire. I concluded at that point you cannot be charging it while it is on. The guts of the unit are probably very good. I would get another one if they could the switch design to work flawlessly. The momentary switches in a standard usb mouse will last for years and many thousands of clicks before they fail. The light indicator seemed to have multiple colors depending on what angle you looked at it.

Great and easy to set up and lightweight product .making it easy to hide anywhere. Good picture quality.

Horrible night video and pics. You cannot view live video unless you are in your home. Leave and your connection ends. Audio is horrible too. Pay an extra 5.00 for a Wyze camera.

This camera is good to use, I was afraid some people stealing my stuff, and now I’m not worried anymore

I like the quality of the Video but the Audio isn't that great but it's still worth buying.

Bueno pues estaba buscando una cámara pequeñita para diversas cosas, entre ponérsela al bebe por la noche y también para encancharla en la impresora 3D tenerla vigilada y poder hacer timelapse y tal, y esta es la más pequeña que he encontrado y lo bueno que trae su propio agarre.Trae un imán en su parte trasera, directamente en la cámara, lo que hace muy fácil de colocar también en cualquier sitio que no puedas poner un enchanche y que sea metálico, y es bastante fuerte.La forma de instalar en el movil es muy facil te bajas el programa, le das a añadir nuevo dispositivo, lees el codigo bidi que trae la cámara y listo directamente ya puedes utilizarla, es muy pequeña y liguera y si quieres usarla para grabar cualquier cosa sin que otros se enteren es facil de esconder.Se conecta a la wifi de la casa con lo cual puedes utilizarla desde fuera de ella con tu movil y tener todo bien preparado por si alguien entra, ya que dispone de un dispositivo de detección de movimiento el cual se pondrá en funcionamiento cuando esto pase, también tiene visión nocturna la cual es bastante nítida, como ya he dicho antes es para lo que la utilizo cuando se la pongo al bebe por la noche o a la impresora 3D.Tiene como lente un gran angular de 120º lo que según en que sitio la coloquemos no necesitamos que tenga movimiento como otras cámaras, de todas formas hay que estar pendiente de donde se pone y apuntarla bien para centrar nuestra visión en lo que interesa, si no tenemos ningún enchufe cerca y queremos tenerla unas cuantas horas andando podemos conectarle una bateria externa por el mini usb y despreocuparnos totalmente.Muy recomendable.

So I planned to use this as a baby monitor, but it gets very hot and I wasn't happy using it. We had a camera before which broke so this was a replacement at the same cost. The night camera is rubbish, and the quality of the video isn't great compared to what I was used to. It's handy and small and so easy to use though. Just wasn't suitable for what I wanted and so I returned. The return was easy and no printing or paying for postage required which was awesome :) overall I didn't think it was worth the cost given the picture quality and level of heat (it would burn my hand if I touched it for more than a few seconds!)

It has its own WiFi you can connect your phone straight to, or you can connect the camera to your home WiFi so you can access the camera through the app from anywhere around the world.The battery lasts about 30-45 minutes which is good for using it as a spy camera, or you can plug in to a USB port, like a power bank or a USB plug, and then it can be powered on continuously.The picture quality is amazing for such a small camera being 1080p, and night vision works well too, lights up an entire room. Only issue is if you are using it in bright light like outdoors, the colour have a purple haze, and this is due to the camera having a night vision lens. This is why I gave it 4* rating and not 5*, otherwise it’s brilliant.The app is ok, could do with updating and tidying up a bit but it works well, and you can change the camera settings, and view and download recorded videos from the memory card remotely straight to your phone.Then included accessories are useful, comes with a body clip, a sticky adhesive ball joint joint, and a USB cable, with a detailed instruction book.Overall this is a good, very small feature packed camera and I would recommend it.

Pain to set up but (QR code installation did not work so resorted to manual input which did) first impressions were good then the light went and so did the picture. If this has got improved night vision I hate to think what it was like before. The IR simply does not work. I don't like the position of the charge point on the base it means if you cannot set it flat on something and charge whilst recording unless you also cover the on off switch. But not working in the dark is the main fault. Not recommended.Update now the motion sensor is faulty, I keep getting alerts . I initially thought it was possibly due to the IR switching itself on and off but I still got them when I turned the motion sensor off. I would return it but it is not worth the hassle

Make sure to use this with thr mobile app as it gives so many extra features. The mini camera allows for solo use too without the app however with the app you can view live over WiFi which is great and does not require and Internet connection, just to connect to the WiFi on the camera. Its is very simple and the manual is very useful and clear too.The camera had good resolution of 1080p and the steam is also very quick too, not as much delay as some others so it can also be used as a cctv or door cameea.I also used the night vision and it is really amazing, it can turn pitch black into bright light, it is very clear in the night so would be perfect for cctv near my door.For whatever application like using it as a cctv camera, sport/action camera, night vision camera, even animals or natural camera it works very well as it has a good resolution and also night vision for a good price.
