Topenca Supplies 5/8 Inches x 50 Yards Double Face Solid Grosgrain Ribbon Roll, Coral

I needed this ribbon in a hurry, and was so pleased to find it available through Prime and at a great price for 50 yards. However, as they say, you get what you pay for. It is not a sturdy grosgrain, but is made from thin satin. I did not want satin as it has a sheen, but I used it anyway. I had to sew it onto my project by hand because I could tell it would be too delicate for machine stitching. Even while hand stitching I had to be careful not to pull too tightly or the material would have visible pull holes.

I used this ribbon to sew onto all of my outdoor pillows. I heat sealed the ends and can now attach all my pillows to the chairs/couches! No more hunting down muddy pillows every storm/windy day!

It is not gold at all, it is yellow. If they are going to advertise it as gold, they should say golden yellow, which basically means a warm yellow. It's also lighter yellow than the picture. If you're looking for yellow, this is perfect for you. If you're looking for gold, find something else.The ribbon strength is solid and durable though.

I loved the color and quality of this Ribbon but when it arrived the cardboard spool it was wrapped around was torn. I used glue and tape to Put it back together so I could store the ribbon on it. Annoying.

I just love using fabric ribbons: what I hope is a Martha Stewart look without Martha's budget. This white ribbon has a "striped" matte finish, and will be quite elegant on my packages for all occasions for many years to come, and a great value from Amazon.

Ordered the burgundy and silver ribbon they are both very pretty the silver is a little lighter then the photo shows so if you are needed a darker silver/grey this may not be for you but they are good quality and there's more then enough on the spools!!!

Color and size of ribbon was nice. But as others have pointed out, it’s a very thin soft grosgrain when compared to other brands and Olfray. Maybe great for other crafts, but not sure how well it will hold up. Myself personally, I will not be buying this again though.

What I received was not at all as depicted when I ordered. Also, it did not have the measurements and description on the label as pictured. The material itself is also thinner than the brand depicted which I thought I was ordering. I will try it due to my time frame however, if it's too thin due to the switch in vendors I will have to return it. Beware.
