Works, if you take it apart and fix it yourself.
I bought several of these gfx-m645 adapters trying to find one that worked properly, locked onto the lens securely. None of them did. I talked to 2 other people who had the same issue with the same adapter. One used TAPE to secure the lens in place, another gave up and double adapted. Pathetic. The adapters all had the same manufacturing defect that prevented the lens from rotating far enough to engage the locking mechanism. I had to take the mount apart and bend the retaining spring clips to the proper shape. Now the adapter works. I contacted fotodiox about this and they seemed uninterested. I really wish k&f made a comparable adapter I could buy instead, as this one experience with fotodiox has left me feeling a little ripped off.

Works as a simple (dumb) adapter
I use this with a Pentax 80-160mm lens (for the 645Z) on my Fujifilm GFX 50S. The fit at both the lens and body end feels solid - no wiggle. I haven't noticed any change in effective focal length or light transmission, but I haven't honestly tested for this - it is just my feeling from having been using it for a couple months or so.Keep in mind that you will lose both auto focus and auto aperture control. In fact, no aperture information is provided to the body at all, so the data on all of your image files will show either f/0 or f/1. If you think you will need to know your aperture setting later on, you'll need to make a record of it yourself. Also, to manually set your aperture, you'll need to adjust your lens' aperture ring AND the aperture ring on the adapter. At least that is what my quick testing has shown. If you forget one or the other, you'll likely get an unwanted exposure. In the end, I'm just glad to be able to continue to use a lens for which Fuji has no alternative.

Works well, but slightly frustrating
So, this thing works, well. It's pretty straightforward. You put it on the camera, put the lens on the mount, done. But taking lenses off of it is quite annoying. There is a little tab that you depress to get the lens off, but you have to move the lens around, back and forth, usually many times to find the spot where the lens will come free. Its not a huge deal once you know how it works. But I spent a good amount of time thinking my mount was broken and unable to get the lens off for quite a while. One of the issues is that there is no feedback when you depress the tab. It doesn't feel like it has opened anything to allow the lens to come off. Couple that with the fact that finding the spot where the lens releases, and without knowing this you are in for a bad day.It also comes with no box or instructions, so that makes it even worse. But once you have all of that down, its fine.

Really bad flare
No one else has written a review of the 4x5 adapter it seems. I got it to use my Fuji GFX 50R as a digital back for my father-in-law's really old Graflex Crown Graphic camera. It does seem to work, but had a major problem with flare. As it comes it's just about unusable, the flare is just that bad. The tube that connects the camera to the back is just untextured so reflects stray light like crazy, even if the surface is matted. The surface of the tube needs to be textured to cure that. In fact $1 worth of flocking tape (for projectors) seems to have cured it.When it does work, I like the ability to shift the camera, so I can make composite photos with an equivalent 96x33mm or 85x44mm. Not quite the 127x100mm of an 4x5 frame, but better than anything else I've got.The other problem is the tube is too long. That moves the focal plane of the camera way behind where it usually is. So with too short of a lens, you wouldn't be able to focus. I can focus with a 135mm lens, I guess I'd be able to focus about a 110mm lens. The tube could be 30mm shorter, which would allow for 80mm lenses (wide angle for 4x5). I think the issue there is there's space to fit a GFX100 or GFX50S, which have chunky grips on the front. The GFX 50R has almost no grip, so doesn't need all that wasted space.Considering Fuji do an equivalent adapter for just about twice the price now (now the price of this has gone up), I'm really wondering if this is worth it. I only got it because it was cheap and out of idle curiosity. It's no longer cheap.

Does not fit M mount lens
I tried mounting a Voigtlander 75mm 1.5 M mount to this adapter with no success , the len doesn't even fit let alone twist to lock. I'm not sure if it's defective or they manufactured them all wrong, I won't take my chances again, I'll try novoflex or kipon. On another note, yes, the new Voigtlander Nokton 75mm 1.5 covers the image circle with little vignetting, I was able to fire a couple shots even though I wasn't able to fully mount the lens.

Great unless you're in a humid or wet climate
Fabulous adaptor for the price. I use it with a Zeiss 85 planar on my Gfx 50R. It works flawlessly until there's any real moisture in the air. I shot a session in the mountains outside Seattle and there was some cold rain that started up and the adaptor started to cause faulty operation of the camera. However, the K+F adaptor seems to not cause the same issues (I have that adaptor for a Voigtalnder 58 Nokton). Point being it's a solid adaptor but has physical element limitations. I wouldn't use it if there's any rain or heavy humidity.

Works beautifully on my GFX50s but still have trouble shooting a photo on GFX100s.
Despite my having both cameras with the same setting, I can take wonderful photos on my Fujifilm GFX50s but can't snap a photo on GFX100s. I'll keep working on it. The Hasselblad x-pan 45 mm lens produces more detailed photos than it did on the original Hasselblad 35mm camera and a more than my are Fujifilm 45 mm dedicated lens. It's great to use this lens on the incredible medium format Fujifilm GFX.

The "Pro" moniker shouldn't be in the name of this product
Works pretty well as an adapter but it isn't worth the price. For one, the locking pin rod keeps falling out. The locking pin keeps the lens from stopping and locking in place. Shotty design, slight play in mount. The tripod mount is the strongest part of the lens, and it gets in the way.

becomes loose after a few months!
at first it was tight and fantastic... now after just a 2-3 months it has become loose to the extent that the lens actually moves ever so slightly. if you do not hold it in place by hand the photos will look distorted... it could be that mine is just a faulty one and a friday afternoon job, but why risk paying a lot of money for something that can become faulty later on...******UPDATE********** Do NOT buy, i discovered why the lens has a play, the adapter is falling apart... I am lucky I managed to get the lens off!! Never ever had a lens adapter fall apart like this... shockingly bad quality

Great value
Fantastic and 1/3rd of the price of the Fujifilm branded version. With no optics why pay more.
