WaterMat EX 22" long is constructed of commercial grade cross linked polyethelene foam specific for the WaterMat family of products. The top layer has our "diamond top" which gives better traction and also additional comfort. The WaterMat EX has a two year warranty. Being 5 feet wide, it is easier to roll up and store than other products in the market. It has two grommets / anchoring systems...one at each end. It rolls up and deploys in seconds and provides years of safe family fun.

My great-grandaughter loved it. But someone stole it.

Beware you coukd have too much fun with this!!!
Get ready for some fun!! Just like the empty box is the hit for the christmas kid to play in so is this. So simple, yet sooooo much fun!! (Unfortunatley a bit too much for my lake club it stirred a huge controversy as the old guard felt bothered by the stir and chaos created when all the kids went wild... I think I counted close to 22 kids at one point and while it was no longer at the surface with that many bodies it really didn't sink either.)A great toy a must have for any lake - be too big for a pool.

We enjoy the mat however, it was a fiasco trying to get delivery.

Poor Construction/Poor customer service
This is a fun product while it lasts but for the price, it should last for for years. I am on my second one. The first one was one of the original black ones and it faded to a white piece of rough foam. The newer blue one lasted two summers and now has a rip right in the middle. Literally a 10 inch right angle tear from a 16 year old, 150 pound person jumping on the mat. It is suppose to hold over 10 times that amount. Our summers are only 3 months long so I figure I have had about 6-7 months of weekend only usage. Quite an expensive toy.Poor customer service as well. I filed a claim and can't get anyone to respond.

Lots of fun but questionable quality for the $$
First let me say that our children & grandchildren enjoy the water mat however, this is the second mat that we've had and it has done the same thing as the previous one. Within just a few days in the water, it peels and blisters like a sunburn. Once the de-lamination process has started, it pollutes the water and our beach. Disappointed in the quality.

Great Concept, Poor Application
I purchased one of these five years ago, and it is the best toy for the lake from the perspective it doesn't need to be inflated. Many of our 'beach toys' cost close to this, but sprung a leak that makes the toy unusable. The first year was great...sold 15 to 20 other people in our subdivision to purchase one as well. However, by the end of the first summer, the two 'layers' started to delaminate...I contacted the company and they sent a new one...very nice. The second one we got was obviously a different structure to the foam. After a few summers use (we use on Lake Michigan, for a few months of weekend use only), the covering on the foam started to 'unravel', and now we have several large 'rips' in the foam from my son jumping on it (140 lbs). After contacting the company, I've been met with very little help, and the help I do receive is basically that they are sending the problem to someone else...been waiting for over a month for a response, and our season ends in a couple of days...very disappointed. Next time I will try of the knock-offs - cheaper and couldn't be any worse!Again, the concept is great! When it wasn't ripped, it was by far the favorite toy in the water...whether for lounging, playing, as a 'dock' for paddle boards and kayaks, it is great! But the price and the lack of support make me question the WaterMat brand.

This was the original mat and I love the concept
This was the original mat and I love the concept, but there are brands out there now that have greatly improved the original.
