Functional, but defective. The power cable supplies enough power to boot the wii, but is either unshielded and interferes with the wii's AV output (I tested this with 2 AV cables) or the power draw is too low to fully power the wii. The cable gets extremely hot and the power brick itself feels like it's completely empty, I'm guessing it's just there for show. The plug also doesn't properly fit into the wii's power socket.Worst of all (and this is the reason I am returning it) It generates a strobing effect on the screen at all times. I took pictures and will post.

I don't know why but my Wii power cord has gone dead 3 times. I still use wii for Netflix so a cheap replacement is fine, this one seems lightweight but the previous one was heavier and stopped working after a year. Time will tell but it has been a couple months now and still fine

I have no idea what happened to my original wii power cord. I wanted to set it back up and obviously needed a cord. This one came quickly and works great. No issues. thank you!

We have had a Wii for years now. The family was bored and we decided to pull it out and play it. Unfortunately the power supply was MIA so I was glad that I was able to come to Amazon and make a purchase. We are now back in business!

Original power supply went dead and swapped it out with this one. Had it for a few months and so far, it still works. But honestly, it's just a 12v power supply with the right cable connection.

Package arrived ahead of schedule. Seemed a bit more light weight than the original power pack. Plugged it into the Wii and it has been running great since purchased four months ago!

Our Wii stopped working so we wanted to try replacing the power cord. This one was a good price and it worked great!
