The attached screws are too short or too small for samsung TU700D. Went to homedepot to get M8-1.25 35mm screws. The strap seems very strong and easy to install.

I live in Southern California and I bought this item for my 65 inch TV. People are saying we are due for the big one (a big earthquake), so when I bought the TV and saw how thin it was, I wanted to secure it to the TV Stand to prevent it from tipping over when there's an earthquake. Installation was easy. I first attached the straps to the TV, then attached to the TV stand with 2 screws on each strap. The TV feels more secure and no longer need to worry about it tipping over during a big earthquake.Side story.. on the night this was installed, we had a 4.5 magnitude earthquake nearby. It wasn't strong enough in our area to knock the TV over, but I still felt that this was a good purchase as a precaution.

Our TV is on a corner fireplace. Some anchor products are meant to secure to a TV stand, or straight back to a single wall, or to mount it where you don't need any stands. We just wanted it to not fall off the fireplace.So I was delighted to find these straps. The screws were compatible with my TV, and we got each strap on their own walls. Our difficulty with installation was primarily because our layout, and not by any fault of the straps.I'm happy with them. They're a good investment.

I have a 70" flat screen, and its extended to as long as it can go. The only way I "rigged it up" to work, is I had to slide my TV all the way to the back of the tv stand and screw it to that. (Not where I originally planned). But even then, I'm not certain that it will hold up if anyone comes through and actually falls into it, because the straps don't have a "bottom out feature" to stop the strap from FULLY pulling loose/through to sizing rings, and I have mine right at the very end. So it's partially my fault for not measuring my TV prior to purchasing, but i didn't see any max length on here either. Non-the-less, it has a couple little flaws. If you have toddlers at home, I would make sure to measure the distance from your TV screw holes, to the place you want to secure it, and make sure it's no more than 30-36" because you'll bottom out the strap rendering it useless (Or potentially dangerous for a small child) Other than that, it seemed very sturdy, and would theoretically work just fine for anything except a big TV)

Seem to work really well and hold my heavy TV. Was wonky to set up 2 sets but it can be done.

I installed these once I purchased a new Toshiba tv. These include the screws needed to put into the tv along with into the wall/tv stand. It was easy to install. Toddler tested, he is unable to pull down the tv I recommend this and would purchase again. Love these straps.

Was looking for a way to safely mount my 55 inch TV on the fireplace mantle in my apartment. Found these straps and am very pleased with them! TV is sitting on the mantle and I now have no worries about it falling over or off the shelf. For those with kids and a TV on a low sitting entertainment center or piece of furniture, these would be great too to keep the little one from accidentally tipping the TV over. Very nice strap, appears to be well made and is length adjustable to fit whatever need you may have. Very affordable too for a quick and easy solution to a potentially over-tipping TV.

We couldn’t be without this. Life saver as my 18 month old is constantly touching the tv.

Really simple to fit and makes the TV really safe if you have kids/pets.
