Ok tool not very sharp

These are beautiful tools! Everything about them says quality. I bought the number 2 size as it is the best all around size for my uses. After receiving and using it, I bought the number 1 and 3 as well. The steel is DC53 a fine grained tool steel a step above D2. The steel is high in Chromium but just shy of being a stainless steel. Give it a light wipe of a oil dampened cloth after use and you will maintain the flawless mirror finish that mine arrived with. My only regret is that I didn't purchase the complete set of 5 to start with. These will force you to up your game so you don't insult them with less than 100% of your ability.

The first one I got was very rusted, I don’t know how that happened but it was promptly replaced and so far it’s been pretty amazing. Exactly what I wanted and the craftsmanship is amazing. The curve on the blade makes it easy and a breeze to use, I will be buying more.

Came sharp out the box and works well, a nice edition to my tool set.
