Beautiful CBN images
Another beautiful color by number book illustrated by George Toufexis, published by Creative Haven. George Toufexis CBN books have become my go to when I feel like doing an intricate picture. I know whenever I pull out a book from this line the finished picture will be absolutely fabulous. I actively collect all of this line of books. These are great books that I highly recommend to any color by number enthusiast. These books are more detailed so can be a bit of a challenge if one is visually impaired. I do recommend having a magnifying glass at hand just in case it’s needed to help see smaller numbers. You will enjoy hours of coloring fun. These books usually contain 46 color by number images. Again, highly recommend to add to any colors book collection.

Perfect stress relief!
I bought this book for some stress relief coloring and I love it! The amount of detail in each photo makes it challenging enough, but not hard. I love that there’s a key showing which colors should be used. Definitely recommend!

Numbers are Missing
Some numbers are missing like in some leaves that should have been the same color as the other ones and I just had to color it according to the pictures as a guide, which was very annoying. There are colors that ar uncommon and I have to figure out what other color to use them, e.g. light and medium beige. Other than that, the landscapes are beautiful. Paper is smooth and white which works well with my oil based colored pencils, which is perfect for the ones that I have.

Really like it
I used to do paint by numbers but it's a little difficult because you have to have a pretty big space and water to wash the brushes, etc. I discovered this and have really enjoyed coloring by numbers with markers. Much easier to handle so I can do it in many different locations other than just at home. I enjoy paint by numbers because I feel a little overwhelmed when I have a picture to color and it gives no direction. I can never decide which color is best and always regret whateve color I went with.

Great for colored pencils not for markers
I found this coloring book looking for something stress free because i am someone who stresses trying to select colors for a coloring page. I color with alcohol markers and didnt know it was suited for color pencils before i purchased. That being said i still tried it because i loved the nature scenes and wanted to give it a shot. Can you color with alcohol markers in this coloring book? Yes. Do i recommend? No. In the more detailed pages the shapes are so small it is very difficult for even the thin tip of my marker to stay inside the lines. The pages are also pretty thin, so the colors appear way darker than youd expect. i will not subtract points because this book is not intended for alcohol markers, however i do think that should be made more clear. Things that i noticed in the book that i will take off points for are mislabeled sections. There are sections were i believe numbers are straight up wrong. Like what do you mean im supposed to have a random black patch within my pastel greens… i dont think so. Also some of the smallest sections dont have numbers, you are just supposed to color in with the nearby colors per the instructions. I dont like this. Its a color by number for a reason, give me a number. My final gripe is that there is a “0” number just called shade. Again, i wouldve rather them just label it something else or add more colors to the key than have to guess which shade it is intended to be.I cannot deny how beautiful these pages are though. I love how many colors were utilized and the diversity in landscapes. I finished 3.5 pages (1/2 page isnt pictured i gave up on) and it really keeps you busy! I spent way too long on each page. It is definitely challenging and mentally stimulating. I dont recommend if you dont have good patience. Overall, i will probably not be using again because of the difficulty with using my alcohol markers but i would recommend for someone with good patience who uses colored pencil!

Beautiful pictures when you’re done! Definite great buy!
I was a beginner at coloring so I wasn’t sure what type of coloring books I would like. So I initially purchased 10 different coloring books with all different styles of coloring. Some let you use your own imagination and others such as George Toufexis books had numbers with a coloring guide and he also gave instructions how to color. I’ve been coloring for about a year and little by little I have been donating the coloring books I don’t like to the recycle bin and I ended up keeping three. And when I looked at who the author was of all three it was George Toufexis! That is my style of books. I have learned where I need a sharp point in coloring and where I need a blunt point in coloring. I have learned how to shade. I’m very impressed with his books. Definite great buy!

So Much Fun!! (One minor flaw)
I have been absolutely loving coloring these pictures! They are complicated enough that I don’t get bored but still very easy to follow! The pages are perforated so that you can take them out of the book which makes coloring them a lot easier. I only have one downside. As I’ve gone through a few of these pictures I’ve noticed that sometimes there is a blank spot with no number. At first I figured they were just white but when looking at the small picture I realize that some of those spaces are supposed to be colored instead of white. It’s pretty easier to either choose a color that matches the surroundings or look at the small colored picture to see the intended color so it isn’t that big of a deal. In the end I’m very excited to buy more of these coloring books!
