I've experimented with a variety of cat foods, including those endorsed by several TikTok or YT influencers, such as Tikicat and Fancy Feast Classic Pate, as well as wellness, nulo brands. My cat faces the dual challenges of IBD and kidney issues. As many individuals with kidney problems understand, elevated phosphorus levels can wreak havoc on a cat's kidneys, both in the short and long term. Additionally, one of my cats struggles with IBD, resulting in persistent diarrhea regardless of the food she consumes, despite efforts with probiotics. Following advice from TikTok and YT influencers who emphasize the virtues of high protein and vilify carbohydrates, I endeavored to provide my cats with exclusively protein-rich diets. However, this approach exacerbated their kidney problems, with Tikicat exacerbating the issue further. Prescription diets, including Royal Canin and Hill's Science, failed to yield any improvement, suggesting that the problem is more multifaceted than simply carbohydrate content. Consequently, I sought out human-grade food options and stumbled upon Honest Kitchen, which proved to be a game-changer for my cat.Surprisingly, My cat transitioned smoothly without the usual bouts of diarrhea or nausea associated with introducing new foods. The human-grade quality of Honest Kitchen positively impacted my cat's health, underscoring the significance of quality ingredients. Despite numerous attempts and considerable expense, I am grateful to have found a solution that addresses my cat's specific needs. I fully intend to continue purchasing this food and am pleased to have discovered it on Amazon.I hope that more companies prioritize the use of human-grade ingredients in cat food production, as misleading marketing can lead to severe health issues, as experienced with other premium brands endorsed by influencers. I highly recommend this food! :) Amazing, very high quality human grade wet food ALL 3 of my cats love! :) AND it’s one of only 3 foods (across all types of cat food) that my cat with IBD (inflammatory bowel disease) eats and does amazing on! 😃🎉My cats gobble this up! They get so excited for meal time! And they all have super soft fur and bright eyes, great energy, my cat with IBD has much less gunk coming out of his eyes, and I’m a former vet tech who knows animal nutrition well. This is a great food!! My cats love both this Turkey and the Salmon and Turkey flavors.Regarding the packaging, it was really frustrating to me at first, but now I’ve got it down easy! It’s MUCH better for the planet (people don’t wash out the tins usually so recycling places have to send them to the landfill & just imagine the insane amount of cat food tin cans that will take forever to break down😳 ).All you have to do is quickly fold the top back and forth along the perforation line (you definitely don’t need scissors. Then just carefully tear the top off along the perforation while it’s sitting in their bowl (sometimes a tiny bit pops out), then just pop up the top sides by pushing the middle of the sides so that it’s a solid square/rectangle, and then dump it carefully out. Sooo easy once you get the hang of it! :)Please don’t let the packaging deter you from this amazing food for cats. :)Oh and it’s perfectly moist too!! Sooo happy my cats will likely never have kidney disease! And their poops are great on this! :) Stinky, but the good stinky. Not “this isn’t agreeing with me” stinky. lolAlso, at least the Turkey and Salmon and Turkey flavors have pumpkin in them. It’s a great healthy food for them and is AMAZING for digestion. So I think it’s one of the main reasons my cat with IBD who can’t tolerate almost anything, actually does great on this food AND loves the taste! 😃And how cute is the Cate’ name… 😄My 3 cats and I give it 5 stars!! 😊🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have an older male cat that has recently developed food allergies and trying to find a brand which he can tolerate is difficult so this one having 4 varieties was a good option. Although he had previously been able to tolerate the turkey-chicken-duck variety, he could not tolerate any of these. Also, the 1st plain chicken pack I opened up had a bad smell, so threw it away. The rest were fresh smelling, and because I was only giving him 1.5 tsp. per day, I stored the remainder in a glass jar in the fridge where it could last a full week if he could eat it. I have fed the balance of the food to my outside cats which liked each flavor, the beef-chicken variety was their favorite. But since there are 7 outside cats (live out in the country so I need critter-killers) this is way too expensive to feed them even as their morning "treat"

I have 7 indoor cats and 2 outdoor cats. None would venture near this food. That’s very very weird! No success even trying mixing up with tuna… I tried giving it to cats at work! I wish I could had taken a picture of their faces… this food doesn’t smell like chicken. I feel like I was scammed.

I really wish I had known about this brand sooner. I originally bought this food for a cat with basal cell carcinoma on her tongue and she couldn't eat dry food or the liquid food. This was perfect for her because she could open wide enough to get some in her mouth and didn't have to rely on her tongue as much. She liked all the flavors really. Be careful with it because my other cat gained about 3 pounds bc she would eat the rest of what was left in the bowl before I picked it up.

Human grade ingredients. Cats love it (1 yr old and 18.5 yr old). Problem is the packaging...it's a pain to cut off the top and gets scissors dirty every time. Hard to get all of the food out of the "juicebox' shaped carton.
