wire blk and wht to ground, red to positive from battery, purple to serial data ( just look is up on lsswap.com if you're doing an engine swap). it works as intended, i was able to pull dtc's out of it and pull the stock tune for further tuning. cheaply made, but it does the job.

I used it to relocate my Bouncie car tracker when it was found in the OBD port. Simple hook up. Use only 2 wires, the rest you ignore or cut off. Then one to positive of battery one to negative or ground. Then you can put your Bouncie any where. I choose to put mine up in front grill to keep it away from metal for a better signal. Now when you only connect the 12 volt to it you don’t get all the other info that you normally would. But the tracking is still spot on and that was the main reason I got it, for peace of mind with a new 17 year old driver.

I used this adapter to hook up a Vyncs to my son's car, whom didn't have an ODB2 connector, this worked like a charm and was a lot cheaper.

Excellent, I had to replace the OBD connector on a 2001 Audi TT because the previous mechanic trashed it. Easy to relocate pins if needed and excellent connection and design.
