EiR NYC Unisex Pitted Deodorant 1.5 oz / 44.36 ml

I so wanted to like this. I really like the smell of it and the natural formula, but it doesn't work for odor. It is only May and I have given this a month's trial. I can't imagine what I would smell like in the summer. Perhaps this would work over the winter months. I also don't care for the packaging. It's a small cylinder that you're swiping across your pits. In the process it flakes going on and I saw some flakes of deodorant on my yoga mat the other day. Just not for me.

I had this as a sample so it came in a little container that I had to use my fingers to try to apply and this made it difficult. Though it wasn't a hot day and I wasn't physically active, it seemed to do the job.

Don’t waste your $$ on a useless item

First, the name is amusing. I don't want the deodorant to feel tacky, and this doesn't. The smell isn't over-taking, which I wouldn't like. And it doesn't smell like vanilla, which I wouldn't like. ha I do feel the price is a bit ouch. That said, I'd probably buy it again.

I decided a few years ago to go completely natural with all of my body products. I decided that lathering my body with chemicals every day was probably best to avoid if possible!I tried a few natural deodorants and found that the fragrance was either WAY too strong, or it was wet and then felt sticky. Being a fan of Surf Mud / Surf Mud Pro, I decided to try Eir's deodorant. Friends then started commenting that "you smell fresh" and I know it was the very light Fir scent working magic. I'm still on my first stick, but its lasted about 6 months already... I'm impressed!

I am always skeptical of natural deodorants, so when I applied this on my pits the other morning, my expectations were low. Later in the day, I was having coffee with a friend when I noticed a pleasant, herbal smell...it was the deodorant! I used it again the next day and it worked just as well. No bad smells at all! I also love the fresh, fir needle scent. It smells like a fresh forest. I will continue to use this deodorant.

I love how this product actually conditions your skin, whereas most deodorants feel like they just encapsulate everything. It goes on totally sheer and is incredibly long-lasting. It keeps my underarms from ever feeling sticky and I feel fresh all day long when I wear it. It has a subtle, herbal unisex scent.
