I have a 2003 Avalanche V8 5.3L with the truck's odometer reading at 110,000 miles, it's time to replace the spark plugs and wires. The wires might be okay, but I already got 110,000 miles of trouble free driving with these wires and I want another 110,000. So, I retired these old wires. Chevy dealer wants to charge $250.00 just to change the spark plugs and for another $150.00 to replace the wires. Pepboys wants $169.99 for spark plugs replacement. Both of these items are on Amazon, they cost about 1/3 of what the dealer wants. Wires are made in the U.S.A by Delphi--this company is a GM parts provider--they fit perfectly. As a reminder, re-assemble the heat shields just the way they were before you dis-connect them. GM's engineers must have put them on for a reason and I sure don't want to find out the hard way by not re-using these shields. The shields go over the spark plugs boot. Also, some di-electric grease is a must, if you're planning on removing these wires in the future. Wires and spark plugs change took 90 minutes. It's a great buy if have the time and are willing to put out the time. When you do it yourself, at that same instance, you're saving yourself some money and learning something new. By paying some one else to fix/change everything that's needed, you've learned nothing in the process!

Item works great, got rid of some of my misfires. And with the price, nothing further to be said.
