Vintage Women's Retro Elegant Hight Neck A Line Casual Comfortabel Swing Midi Dress

This was bought for my daughter who wanted something that was dressy but not formal. It fits her very well and is well made. This is a light weight dress made for summer but if you can take the cold the color and look is fine for year round. The quality is very good for the price point and it is very flattering.

I absolutely love this dress. Paired with a simple clutch and basic pumps it's really cute. I get lots of compliments whenever I wear it. It is tight in the chest though. I followed the measurements provided and the size was just right. It fits like the pictures. But, if you have a larger chest, you might feel just a little squished. I don't need to use a safety pin. The buttons aren't popping in me, but I can definitely feel that it's tightly hugging me when I breathe deeply. The model shown doesn't look like she has a large chest so that's why I say it fits just as expected. The arms, waist and length fit me just right and for me that's the most important part. I have a bit of a straight shape that works perfectly here. I usually worry about the waist or hips being too big because I'm not very curvy. Not a problem here. For reference, I bought the black one in a size 6 (large). My measurements are 36C-27-38, I'm 5'9” and I weight 142 pounds. I have a slim but athletic frame (slightly broader shoulders and very little booty). I ordered by chest size, but the measurements here are true and don't take cup size into consideration. I wouldn't want to go up a size because it would look sloppy. If I wear an unlined bra I'm OK. A sports bra would probably work as well, but I don't like sports bras unless I'm actually working out or playing sports. That's just a preference though. The material is linen, which has no stretch and you'll have to iron it because it wrinkles easily. That's to be expected with linen. The sheer scarves on the sides give a nice fullness to the hips and flow beautifully when walking. There's a side zipper. This is mandatory for fitted dresses. All of the buttons are functional as well. They can be a bit tricky to fasten since they're basically knots and lack structure, but I like to keep the front open when getting dressed to make it easier to pull over my head. Overall, I highly recommend this dress for anyone who isn't extremely curvy. If you're lucky enough to have a plump booty and large chest you may want to try something else. Of course, Amazon is great with returns, so you can always try it out and see how it works. Oh, and the linen has a really pretty pattern too.

The dress itself is nice but the size is so off. I normally wear size 2 but with this dress even size 6 still fits me tight around the arms.

Beautiful dress. Very feminine and flattering. Bear in mind these are asian sizes and not built to the standard American figure. I would follow bust size closely, as even with following the guide, mine was a little snug in the bust area. The fabric is a little thin, so be mindful of what color undergarments you wear. Otherwise, I love it. Looking to purchase more from this seller because their clothes have a classy feminine quality that I can’t always find for a reasonable price range here in the US.

This dress is very pretty. It does not look exactly like the way model has it. Maybe it would if my shoulders were narrower. However, I like it because it felt modern enough with a retro touch. Will be wearing to events that will require traditional elements /cultural wear. The only thing I wish they would improve is the zipper in the back. It would be nice if it the grip was bigger and easier to zip up and down.

This dress is absolutely what I wanted and expected it to be. It is stunning - I have already hand-washed it and it came out perfect. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear and it is perfect fit. I love it so much I ordered another dress from this company. Exellent quality for the money.
