Best looking badge holder on the market - works fine with HID cards. As far as reading, depends on the devices installed at your location (if you're looking for RFID purposes) how much you'll have to move it around to get it to read. Dinged it 1 star because it fell on carpet and started to lose it's black color where it made contact, concerned about the coloring process if this is aluminum.

Fit my Florida State Park year's pass perfectly.i wasn't sure it would because the way the dimensions were given.Maybe because the difference between what will fit and what you can see are different.
