This beautiful book is a must have for any early Hollywood lover. It's one of my all time favorites. It not only has pictures galore but information on the studio, stars, & films themselves. It will always have a place in my personal library.

Excellent book about history of MGM. Well illustrated - supplements the DVD history.

I gave it as a gift to my aunt and she loved it. I leafed through it before I gave it to her and it's got a lot of information and wonderful pictures.

This is a survey of MGM from the earliest days to the fifties. Well written, copiously illustrated and full of fascinating facts and statistics.

This is a very beautiful book on the history of MGM. It is not a filmography which John Eames' book is but a history of many areas of the film company.
