Had a hole that ended up iny kyack, but this product was easy to use and I got the hole fixed in no time

Great plastic repair kit!
This kit has come in handy for fixing many different plastic items in my house. It takes time to get used to it, but with practice you can self repair plastic cracks and weld plastic together. Good kit!

Bought to patch a kayak
No clue how to use one of these things just watched the ad video. Seems to work good took forever to patch but i think it did the job. I had A small crack in my kayak and i bought This kit to repair it. There are no directions on how to use one of these things I’m assuming it’s one of those things ppl just know…ppl except me.No temp control just on and off. Came with everything that you see in the pic. Tip did not bend and seemed pretty sturdy for the job.

Take your time! It works great
Love this thing! Just got it today and welded up my kayak and added a skid for the future dumbness of skidding it up a boat ramp. I did this huge patch and still have 6 or 7 sticks to use. It doesnt smell very good but it does work and the smell goes away of course. Would recommend!

Can't beat for the price!
it seems to work good, it's hard to tell with my lack of experience plastic welding. Only used it twice, and my results on second repair are far better than my first repair.

Completely fixed Canoe!!!
I used this kit to fix a Green Coleman Canoe that was cracking/splitting. It is still holding up strong after a year of taking it out on the water. I never knew about plastic welding, but its one of the easiest things I've done.11/10 Would recommend!

Door panel repairs
This tool is perfect for repairing broken vehicle door panels. A lot of panels these days are multiple pieces held together with plastic studs that will eventually break and come loose. This tool will weld(melt) those plastic studs back together. It beats buying a new door panel that can cost $500+

I bought this for myself after using a soldering iron and cut up pieces of gear clamp for years to repair broken plastic. This is WAY easier to use and very handy. I have welded numerous plastic and quad panels since buying it a few months ago. In fact I am about out of screen already.Cut your screen with a small overlap and just melt it in from the back side and its good as new!WAY cheaper than a single plastic panel from the parts counter!

Cheap junk!
Originally i gave it a 4 star reveiw but after only using the unit twice now, I give it a 1 star. The heat pen is a cheapskate unit. The screw that holds the brass bit has stripped and nearly makes the unit useless. Hopefully I can retap a new screw to finish the job I'm in the middle of doing now. DO NOT BUY!!
