As an avid MMO player, I used gaming headphones a lot. When engaged in coordinated raids and such with other players, I'm in Discord chat for extended periods of time. While roaming solo across my game world, I like to listen to music and audiobooks, again for long periods of time. So a good headset is very important to me. Over the years I've tried any number of headphones, across a wide variety of price ranges. This headset is one of the best I've ever used. The sound is deep and rich, with wonderful bass tones. The surround sound works very well, with clear audio separation of distinct sounds, which is very important in a game that used audio as well as visual cues in combat. The headphones are comfortable to wear for an extended period. And they are genuinely plug and play, which is also nice. Just plug them into a USB port and they are good to go.One minor but significant point when using Discord - When I plugged in my last headphone set, also into a USB port, the only thing that showed in the Discord audio settings were Default input and output devices. While the headphones themselves worked fine that way, there were problems with the mic. Other players could barely hear me, even with my volume cranked all the way up on both their end and mine. That's why I got this headset. As soon as I plugged it in, Discord picked up both the headphones and the mic as USB audio devices, with both the headphones and the mic working just fine. I am more than satisfied with this product and at its price it's a real deal.

Due the price and a few bad reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect.My boyfriend told me not to waste money on a bad PC headset.When I unboxed these he said “really?”.I plugged them in and opened halo mcc.Beautiful.I handed him the headset and when he put it on his attitude changed.He now uses them more than I do.You will not find a better headset for this price.(Worth mentioning I opted for the slightly more expensive option)

I saw the 1 star reviews and knew going in that the mic was trash. I did not mind since I was using a desk mic anyway.I bought it for the material covering the pads since I've had too many of the protein-style wear out fast.Unfortunately, I did not pay close attention to the description and found out when I got it that the cable was affixed rather than a jack. My bad, so I'll keep it and see how long it lasts.

Not the best, so don't expect to get high quality sound as if you were buying a Bose or similar; but for the price it is really well made and the sound is clear and crisp.

Its a nice headset if you have a budget.
