Boggy Creek Valley has been one of my favourite series, and I am sad to see it come to a close, but what a close, Kelly Elliott has thrown everything in this series, from a swoon to tears to joy, and she ended the series with a spectacular slow-burn suspense story, and swoon loving classic romantic book-loving tough police officer who isn't afraid to show his softer side, Everly and Kyle had the heat but Ms Elliott kept us waiting with this one as she built up the romantic tense while delivering a really engrossing thriller, I just love this authors imagination, and she really did shine with Boggy Creek Valley.Everly's brother is marry Kyle's sister and they met briefly when the couple first got together, and the sparks flew even then, but Everly's job as a climatologist takes her all over the country, so a kiss is all they steal. When Everly comes back some months later for her brothers wedding, the two steer clear of each other, but now Everly is on the run, and the only person she thought to go to was Kyle, from the moment Kyle opens the door to find the woman he hasn't stopped thinking about on his doorstep in need of help he is all in, he just needs to get his K-9 dog, Cat on board who can be a little jealous! The danger is closing in, but for the life of her Everly can't think why her ex-boyfriend is after her, twists and turns, highs and lows with a growing passion that is about to explode, what more you could want?, I can only think of one thing, more of Boggy Creek!This has been one hell of a captivating series and one I would not have wanted to miss.

This is the sixth book in this incredible series and is Kyle and Everly’s story. Kyle is the police officer and the best friend and joker in the group, and when Everly arrives on his doorstep looking for someplace safe to stay, he gets one look at her bruised and nattered face and agrees. The sparks fly between these two. Everly will not reveal who she is running from, but when the past comes back to haunt her, Kyle will do whatever he must to protect and keep her safe. This is a well written story which has mystery, danger, suspense, intrigue, twists, humor, witty banter, and love, which leads to an entertaining and all-consuming page turner.
