Magnelab's ACT-0036-400 is a 36mm opening split-core current sensor that transforms an AC current input 40 to 480 Amps to a 5 Amp output. Split-core transformers are ideal for installation on existing electrical wiring by snapping around the conductor. The ACT-0036-400 has a self-locking mechanism.
