Derived from a stock IS38 housing from the VW MKVII Golf R and Audi S3, Tomioka Racing increased the factory housing  velocity volume in order to house larger and better bearings, compressor wheel, and turbine.The IHX475 is the next step up for making power with the VAG MQB platform modular chassis and EA888 1.8T/2.0T engines. Thanks to a reengineered billet compressor wheel, the IHX475 is able to deliver more power with quicker response than a stock Golf R/S3 turbocharger, maintaining its durability in high boost situations. Created for longevity with strict tolerances, the turbocharger is VSR balanced at high speeds.To aid the turbo in making power, included with the kit is an upgraded Aluminum Turbo Inlet Pipe and full billet CNC machined Diverter Valve.
