Effective and Affordable Tool for Pet Hair Control
I just recently purchased the FurDozer X6 pet hair remover hand tool as an experiment to see if it would work-and I was pleasantly surprised! The tool is incredibly easy to use. On my couch cushions, it was simple and straightforward-you just "brush" the couch. On softer areas like the arms or back of the couch, I found it helpful to hold and straighten them out a bit to remove the fur effectively. While the tool isn't perfect (removes every single strand), it makes a significant difference. It's highly effective at removing even those stubborn strands of fur that get woven into the fabric, something I've found much easier than vacuuming. You may need to go over some spots a few times or switch directions, but the process is still very manageable. I also appreciate that it was gentle enough not to damage my furniture, and it even removed some lint from the couch as an added bonus. One thing to note is that, as you brush, some of the fur might float back onto the couch or floor. I recommend having a vacuum handy or collecting the fur as you go. Even with this minor inconvenience, it's a huge improvement over hand-picking fur or using rollers which can get costly over time.I've also tried this tool on clothing, and while you'll need to hold the fabric still, it works just as effectively as it does on furniture. The tool's size, shape, and lightweight design are well thought out-it fits comfortably in my hand, making it easy to maneuver. The quality feels sufficient, and at $16.99, the FurDozer X6 is great investment, especially since it is reusable. While I assume it might wear down after repeated use, it's far more economical than buying lint rollers over and over or investing in an expensive pet-oriented vacuum that often doesn't work as well. With two dogs (a German Sheperd and a Siberian Husky-Poodle mix) and two cats, fur inevitably gets everywhere. This tool has been a helpful addition for managing pet hair, particularly on the couches. Regular vacuuming and brushing are still part of my routine, but this little tool as made fur control much more manageable. I went into this purchase unsure if it would work, but I'm very satisfied and happy I gave it a try.

It works!
Fantastic! I have a labrador retriever mix that sheds a lot (I mean a lot!!) and I have used this in the car, on all of the entrance mats of our house, and in heavy blankets, and it works amazingly well. Follow the video instructions and like she says press firmly using the entire pad and it will work like a dream. I bought two - want to keep in the car and want to keep in the house! Thank you so much for creating this product!

Almost Perfect!
I wish I could give this product 5 stars but I do think it is lacking something. Before I get ahead of myself, let me say that this little gadget really does work in terms of gathering all the fur from a surface such as a sofa, chair, bedding etc. I have a black lab and since we live in Florida, she sheds constantly. It means I am constantly cleaning up fur from every surface you can imagine. I purchased a pet bed cover so that I could put it over my bedding so that when she came on the bed at night, her fur didn’t end up all over my bedding. However, I do find that the fur that she leaves behind on the pet cover is quite excessive. I have been vacuuming it up until now. It meant pulling out the vacuum cleaner very morning when I made up the bed. I had hoped I could leave it for at least a couple of days if the fur was on the pet cover. But I found that laying in bed with all the fur and dander around me would cause me to become congested. Rather than suffer, I sgot into the habit of vacuuming. It worked in terms of removing the fur, but it was cumbersome to perform because I’d have to pull out the big canister vacuum for 5 minutes of work. Then along comes FurDozer. I was actually purchasing another product that I’ve been using to clean my car and the dog’s car seat cover. When I found it the FurDozer popped up under “other items you might be interested in”. I decided to check it out because I couldn’t figure out by looking at it, just how it would help to clean up the fur. I watched the video about how to use the FurDozer and thought that it looked promising. Since it was relatively inexpensive, I decided to give it a try. The FurDozer worked exactly as it was supposed to. I used it first on the pet cover that was on my bed. It took the same amount of time to clean as it did with the vacuum, the difference was that it took less time to pick up and put away the FurDozer than it did the vacuum. That said, there is one thing that I had an issue with about the FurDozer. While I was able to gather all the fur (I cleaned off my dog’s love seat that I kept just for her to sleep on (in the hopes that she wouldn’t aspens every night on my bed. It worked. The love seat is a dark sage colored velvet jacquard so you don’t see the black fur until it piles up. I clean it off before then. I did however, take and include some photos of the live seat before and after I cleaned it. I started to clean the left side of it before I decided to take the pictures so I could include them with the review that I knew I wanted to write. I tend to only write reviews if I love a product or hate it. If it is just so so, I don’t usually bother. This product would have gotten 5 stars (as I said before) except for the fact that after gathering all the fur using the FurDozer, you have to pick it up and throw it out. Since the FurDozer gathers the dust and dander along with the fur, it is hard to get all of the product up just using your hands. That is where I think the FurDozer is lacking. Whether you care about that is up to you. Fortunately for me, the product I was purchasing when thenFurDozer popped up on my screen, is my answer to how I can get all the fur I gathered, into the trash quickly and easily. I am pretty sure Amazon would not post this if I included the name of the other product that I use,, especially because they have not relation to each other via who makes or sells them. I can tell you that if you don’t know what to do with the extra “dirt” that you cannot prick up with your hands, try something like a lint roller or a piece of packing tape. That is not what I use, so I cannot say for sure either will work. However the thing that I use does work in the same way as those two items do. I suppose that my final comment is that if you manage your expectations regarding picking up the fur to throw it away, then I would recommend getting it. I myself ordered a second one today. I got the longer one thinking that if the short one made such quick work of my furniture and pet cover, the long one should just work faster since it covers more surface area. Take a look at my photos to see the before and after pics of the live seat. If I can figure out how to make a video of the cleaning process, I will add it later after this review is posted by Amazon. Good luck. I hope you find using the FurDozer as easy and quick as I do.

Good, but not a miracle tool.
I have a long-haired cat and a short-haired cat. The long-haired cat's hair is easy to get up, no problem. The short-haired cat's hair sticks into the fibers of my living room chairs and drives me nuts. The chairs are ivory and he is dark gray, so it makes them look dirty. I tried everything including duct tape, so I finally bought this tool and gave it a shot. Yes, I will say it got up the majority of his hair, but it does take a little work and finessing to get the tool just right. Maybe I'm just getting used to it being different than my usual pet hair remover, but I didn't care for the way all of the dander seem to get worked up with the hair as well and collected on the tool and I guess I have to get used to picking up the hair by hand because it doesn't stick to the tool. I found it a little tricky, but I could probably get used to it. The other weird thing was as I was using the tool some of the hair in front of it would actually jump back behind it. I figured it must be static electricity so next time I'll moisten the tool. I had to wet my fingers to pick up the tiny balls of hair as well.
