Straightforward fitting job, ( see youtube videos) took about an hour to do and all worked well afterwards.

Bought to replace our broken one in a Citroen C1 2013 . And it was a perfect match . Fitted it with some help from YouTube vids . All was good . Nothing much else to say about it really. Bought it , fitted it ..it works .

The stalk comes shipped in a plain white box. They have bothered to add a little mesh sleeve to protect the part of the stalk that you see (with the printing on).Initial impressions are good. The switch actions are positive and feel like the original stalk. There are no rough plastic edges etc.The white printed characters are identical except that they look very slightly faded or perhaps just not as pure a white as on the original. This is a very subtle difference. I tried to photograph but it would not show up. In the photo, the original stalk is on the right.Handily, I happen to have a Peugeot 107 which I am selling on behlaf of a friend, so I hooked up the stalk for a test. The good news is that everything works, but there are a couple of buts…The foglamp switch can be switched on whether or not you have your headlights on. On the original stalk, you will find that you physically cannot turn the foglamp switch ring when the headlights are off. It’s interlocked. Not so with this one.So what? I checked the MOT regs and this does not appear to be a fail “Front and rear fog lamps are permitted to operate independently of any other lamps or ignition systems.” (4.5.3). But you may wish to check for yourself before relying on this.The other side of this is that if you have the fog lamps on and you turn your headlights off, the fog lamps will also be turned off if you have an original stalk. On this stalk they will stay on. So you could more easily be one THOSE people driving around with fogs on.😊The second possible “but” is that this stalk is only suitable for cars with no front fog lamps. This stalk (and all the other aftermarket ones I can find) are replacements for part number 6253A0. If you have front fogs as well you need part B000612880. That has a fog lamp ring which has two positions rather than one.Just for kicks I decided to have a little look inside the switch contacts area of the stalk to see what’s what. To be honest it looks like a decent copy. I found the plastics about the same (sometimes copies can be cheaper, more brittle plastic). But it was pretty easy to get apart without breaking anything and it went back together fine.I can’t tell without destroying this one whether the contacts are solid copper or plated. So it’s difficult to say how long one of these might last compared to an original one.Given that the originals are not that great anyway, you may think any trade-off in quality vs the saving is worthwhile PROVIDED you don’t have front fog lights. I wouldn’t disagree.I can’t give it 5 stars because of the fog lamp switch not having the interlock with the headlight switch and debated whether it should be 3 or 4 stars because of this. I went for 4 on the basis that it will solve the common problem of the indicators not working at low cost and everything else works. It’s a real shame that they didn’t design in the interlock between headlights and foglamps.

Good quality replacement. Worked exactly as expected. Tricky to instal but okay once you have the right tools.
