It is really nicely constructed. The light is really bright
I am really loving my Artograph! One advantage that was mentioned to me by a local artist is that it makes it so convenient to retrace your drawings and artwork that you become more adventurous and less fearful of taking chances and making "mistakes".I use my Artograph every week, sometimes multiple times a week. It is really nicely constructed. The light is really bright; you can easily see your drawing through watercolor paper. This was definitely worth the money I paid for it and honestly I wish I had of bought it ten years ago when I first wanted to get one. For me, using a window to trace my drawings does not compare; using a window as a lightbox is difficult because you put so much strain on your arm, especially with more detailed drawings. Yes it will work in a pinch, but an Artograph is a really nice long-term solution!

Bright
This board is great for diamond art. So bright. Plus no LCD to make it blah

Works For Me.
Received the item, immediately unboxed and took it for a test drive with a current project I'm completing. It works fine for me! Should have bought one many years ago but they were much too expensive at the time. Today it's a no brainer.

Autograph Light Tracer 2
This product is by far the best for A4-ish sizes and although it seems pricey for what you get, basically a florescent tube under a tapered plastic box, it does do the job very well. Most Art shops charge more, if you can get this one, so even with Amazon shipping etc. it is still cheaper than the store.

Overpriced for a cheap plastic light box
I have used these light boxes for many years, but I bought my other three from Hobby Lobby, and with a coupon, the price could be between $40 and $50 dollars. However, Hobby Lobby has reduced its stock to only the smallest of light boxes, so one this size is no longer available there. Having to spend nearly $90 for this item is grating, and I would not do so again. For a little more, I'd get one of the larger and thinner light boxes by Huion or one of its myriad copies—provided it wasn't shipping from China or sold by one of the many fly-by-night sellers I've been scrolling past. When shopping for a light box, Amazon can't seem to distinguish between a light box and a portable photography studio, and its listings are further littered with sponsored items, making the search for a light box altogether bothersome. Regardless, I'll suffer through it and select one of the more elegant boxes next time.Aside from the plastic housing, the light is uneven and not especially bright. It works well enough for thinner papers. This model is a slight rework of an older, slightly taller box. I saw someone selling the older box for over $200, which is utterly insane. It's not even worth the $85 I just paid. Again, while this is the fourth one I've purchased, I'll never buy another.
