Good product
Great clippers. I love them. The dog really doesn't so much....I have had them for about a year. They hold up well and work fine.

Very Easy to Use
I have never been able to clip my Bassett Hound's nails... that is until now. With these clippers, I was able to clip them easily and safely. Bassett Hound's nails are extremely hard and difficult to trim, but Rosy didn't appear to mind it at all. I would highly recommend these for anyone who has had a problem with their dog's nails.

Work well
These seem to be well made and sturdy, much better than the ones you find at the chain stores.

Not the best, wouldn't buy them again got stuck on my dog's toenail when trimming
Okay value for the money however I don't think I would purchase these again oh, they are somewhat odd to hold, and are not super Sharp oh, they actually got stuck on my dog's toenail in the closed position which was very discomforting.

Does the job.
I liked the price. The safety lock is flimsy. I guess I got what I paid for. The clippers are sharp enough for large nails. Handy guard works well. However, be sure the guard is in place.

Dissapointed
Falls apart .... have to be very careful when using.... the close lock engages in use.... very annoying... other then that... they cut nails well

Good clippers
This is the third set of clippers we tried for our dog (young Boston terrier). These are by far the best so far, easy to hold so they don't slip, and easy to use. Smaller in size than past clippers but work much better.NOTE FOR OTHER DOG OWNERS: We tried the scissor-type and found it was too difficult to use especially if your pup has a tendency to pull away. The Guliotein was by far the worst one, it would crush/crack the nails rather than cut cleanly, and also difficult to position so that you could see where you were cutting. With these dog clippers, you position them more to the side so its easier to see that you are not cutting too far. Tip, hold your phone flashlight under your dogs' black nails to see where to cut.

Perfect nail clipper for pets
The media could not be loaded. ย Best nail clipper I have found so far. I have a medium size cat and a bigger dog. I had a really big problem to get one tool for both pets. This one fits them both! This nail clipper has the following pluses:+ Very convenient rubber handles. It makes it a lot easier to hold, much easier than my previous aluminum clipper.+ It is really sharp, so you can cut the nail on the first try! My cat does not like this procedure, so for me the speed and accuracy is important.+ I think, it's size it just right to hold in the hand. Not too big, and not too small.+ It has a spring inside, which helps you to operate easier.Overall, I am very satisfied with the purchase.

Not quite up to the hype
Just used these for the first time. The blade doesn't seem very sharp to me and I had to use a bit of force to cut my two beagles' nails. The blade also slipped on the dogs' nails. The clip that is supposed to hold the blades closed between uses doesn't sit properly in the holes intended for it and I can't get the blades locked now. When I was successful in clipping, the blade did go through my dogs' nails without splitting them and the angled blade did make it easier to cut the dew claws but I expected the blade to be much sharper based on reviews. Maybe I got a dud but I wouldn't recommend them if they all perform like this.

Quick sensor?
Nice and sharp but I thought is would have a quick 'sensor' as advertised. It is just a guard you can use to determine the length. Not much help when looking for the quick on black nails.

Eliminates accidental quick cuts
I bought these nail clippers because they have the quick guard on them. I find that this feature makes me more confident when clipping my dogs nails. I have a very squirmy dog and it takes 2 of us to clip his nails. My husband holds him and gives him treats to distract him while I try to clip as quickly as possible. With the guard there's no accidental quick nips. Thank you for this feature!
