Pretty good, but...
I gave this 4 stars because it didn't intrigue my 7month old. If you have the other newer vtech toys then you'll realize you just need 1, bc they do a lot of the same thing, look similar and say mostly the same things. :/ being a new mother (my oldest is 9) all over again got me excited to buy my daughter all these fun pink vtech toys but one would have sufficed. Don't get me wrong vtech is GREAT I love the bright colors, attention to even small details, the songs etc but they could have made each toy it's own a little more... not all sooo similar.Onto the actual activity cube, it's pretty good as my title says. Like I said vtech pays close attention to detail, bright fun colors, the cube counts, teaches animals, sings ABCs, also sings two nursery rhymes when you flip the page (only one page to flip :/ ) it's light so easy to carry to whereever, the shape sorter is neat on one side I've been sticking all kinds of toys in the hole you reach in to get the shapes out and she likes to take them all out. The top she hasn't had much interest in all you do is point to different animals and it will ask a question like what does the cow say? Her favorite part honestly is the side you spin the toys, I thought she'd like the side where you can do a few different things like pull up the butterfly and watch him fall or move the bird back and forth, but nope. It just doesn't hold her interest :/ this was an early Christmas present to. I'm learning my daughter isn't as interested in toys with all the lights, sounds and songs though and that's not vtech fault. The price is right on this cube between $20-$30 as it is made of quality plastic and has several features, but just not for my daughter.

My kids love this toy
My kids love this toy. I have twin preemies and sometimes they need some extra motivation with areas they struggle in developmentally. In this case they were having troubles learning to sit up on their own so I tried this, it's great! They love all the different toys and the music and lights. It made them so determined to play with it one of them sat up within a day and the other is hit and miss but tries very hard. The only 2 little reasons I left out a star is because1. It's very lightweight. Sometimes when they're trying to play with it, because it's so light it comes up at their face if they just wobble a little. I wish the bottom had a bit of weight to it to help steady it a bit.2. The monkey on the twist pole and the butterfly on the zig zag part don't move very well so it's kind of a wasted side because my kids find it boring/frustrating.But despite those little things I'd get it again, it's a great toy overall.

Great learning toy for Curious kids
My son is 9 months old and loves it. it keeps his attention pretty well. he loves the side with the spinning tiles. he hasn't quite figured out the jungle side to spinning the monkey down the vine. I see this as a great way for him to learn and build his dexterity in his hands and on making things spin and move and flipping the pages on the book. also turning the spindle on the top is a little hard for him now but he will grow. it's a great space saver for having so many functions in one toy. it was a pain to take out of the box you literally had to deconstruct the whole packaging. it would not be fun to have to return the item after taking out of the box but i wouldn't think a parent would return. Considering it does help with dexterity and problem solving of twisting, turning and flipping best to baby proof the house because they will figure it all out.

My daughter loves this!
The media could not be loaded. I got this for my then 6 month old. I tried to upload 2 videos but can only do 1. She loves spinning the tiles. The lights and sound catch her attention and encourage her to keep pushing buttons. When she was learning how to stan she would use it to stabilize herself while playing with whatever was on top (usually the piano/lights/sounds side.) She is almost 1 now and still loves this cube! She is starting to learn how to put the shapes in the sorting part. 2 negativesthing (and this goes for most toys that make sound) is that the songs get annoying to me but baby loves them. Also I wish there was something on all sides 1 side doesn’t have an activity but it’s meant to be played with that side down so no biggie.

My one year old baby’s 1st birthday gift
First of all if you need to have your baby distracted for 10 minutes (to do laundry or dishes etc) without needing your attention, this might help. My daughter loves attention and I have found it very difficult to have a toy that keeps her engaged and be educational at the same time, except books those are her favorite, but once she’s gone through them it’s a different story. After having this for 2 months it doesn’t really excite her as much so her attention span with it goes up to 3 mins. I’m surprised how much she loves the shapes and holes the most these days. The only thing you might not like is the noise it produces, I think I’ve memorized everything it says now. I can hear “I am a happy bear I like to sing and dance(or it might be play)” in my head right now.

Daughter loves this toy!
This is hands down our six month at the time of purchase, and now seven and a half month, daughter's favorite toy. She loves this and reaches for it first every time!Sturdy, well made and lots of little buttons to push, things to spin, twist, Pages to turn, a piano to play, all extronic and noisy when you want it to be and quiet and simple when you need it to be. She loves chewing on the blocks and Pushing the piano buttons. This is an excellent Toy that is teaching as much as it is entertaining!Parents - this thing is super noisy and sings repetitive songs based on the buttons pushed, pages turned, dials turned so be prepared if you are not seeking loud and stimulating - this does both very very well!
