Lucky Peach, Issue 8 Paperback – September 17, 2013

This was one of the more interesting lucky peach magazines. I like that one side was the female side and when you flipped it over you would read the make side, and the middle was an article about sex changing sea life.

First off, this is more of a piece of advice if you are going to get this magazine. Order it one at a time, and with no other magazines. When you do that, Amazon shrink wrap packs the magazine against a cardboard backer that maintains the "magazine rack" perfect quality. I made the mistake of ordering the 8,9 issues together,and they both arrived bashed to hell with scuffs and mini tears all over.

On recommendation from a friend I picked up this and the Chinatown issue. These are the only two I have read but the other was quite a bit better. I just didn't find any of the articles interesting and the recipes (except for the steak tartare) equally uninteresting.

The only problem is that the first issue has not been reprinted and I am not going to pay $200 for one off of eBay.

This magazine gets better and better! Can't wait till the next issue! So glad Amazon gets it to me before it hits the stores!

Food stories by chefs, written in a irreverent and fun way. All the stories and recipes are unique and very fun.

as a newyorker and a foodie this is the perfect magazine. i collect them. it arrived in pristine condition!!!!!!! And the price incredible

I love this magazine. A plethera of information. I have every issue from # 1 forward. So happy I found it.

Great purchase. Convinced me to subscribe to the magazine. It's really worth it! Awesome art and great articles about a lot of subjects.

I have all of these since they started showing up for sale. Lov'em. The stories, although odd at times, are fun and well done. I hope Chang keeps this going.

I had to read it again to understand why it was completely under my pile. It's definitely not my favourite. I find it sometimes borderline sexist. A bit tired of girls vs guys concept. Nice try to give the floor to girls, but most of articles are written by guys. I like Lucky Peach magazines, but just not this one.

Another interesting edition in this fantastic series of food magazines. Insightful articles and some good photos and artwork
