Well known for its reputation in the watch and clock industry. For muscial instrument valves, use only a small amount compared to regular valve oil. Valves remain smooth even after left unplayed for several days.

NEY Clock Oil used for Instrumental Valve Oil
As a musician playing a Brass Instrument, living in the desert where most of the year it is hot and dry. I have had a serious problem with valves that freeze into place after even only 24 hours on non-use. If the instrument were not played for a week I almost need tools to break the valves free. Roger Webster, a world class musician living in England, did a study of valve oil and he determined that the very best oil for the valves is Clock Oil. I also knew of at least one other musician who uses clock oil on his valves, so I thought I would try it. I purchased the NYE clock oil, which cost me about three times what I would pay for normal valve oil however it may really be less expensive when you consider I only have to use a few drops every couple of weeks rather that using liberal amounts of the regular valve oil almost daily. Not only do I use far less product but the valves are as smooth as silk and even if the instrument is left unplayed for several days, the valves do not freeze into place to a point where more than a light tap is required to free them for smooth action. Forget the "Clock" in the name; it is the best "Valve" Oil one can purchase for musical instruments.

Just OK
Spend the extra money on Mobius. This oil seems a little to gummy to me. I used it on 100 or so watch services and switched. You get what you pay for.
