Tried one years ago in a music shop, so figured, i need one, so bought this, forget the song book that come with it and just nnodle round finding your own mellow tune, worth every penny.

Sound is good. Comes with a nice black zip up case, sticks with rubber tips, and a learning book. Christmas gift. Should be fun.

It carries a beautiful even tone right out of the box! It's thick and heavy feels of good quality. You can open the bottom if you need to tune the tongues. It has rubber feet on the bottom to keep it steady during play and it comes with a nice carrying case too in case you want to perform somewhere. It's a nice calming sound, works well with story time and for ringing up queues for kids during plays. It's easy to play of course. a little harder to get good. I definitely need practice but I've been loving it so far!I think mine was a return because all of the stickers were already placed on it in the wrong spots. I'm not sure. I might paint on the numbers with a nice metallic gold leaf paint. The stickers don't do this instrument any justice. I highly recommend!

I am so pleased with this steel drum! I have always wanted one of these but could never afford one, until now! This steel drum is a fairly large size which offers a variety of deeper tones to play. I included a video of what each section sounds like.The color of the drum is a rich deep forest green, which gives off a relaxing vibe. Additionally, it comes with a plain black storage and carrying case, which I think is useful.You might wonder who would use such a steel drum, and I’m here to tell you anyone would enjoy this. It can create a highly relaxing atmosphere as you unwind from a stressful day. Many yoga or alternative healing practices have one of these to incorporate in meditative experiences. I am going to purchase another for my friend who is a massage therapist, as it will be a great decorative item but also get used in her practice.I highly recommend this steel music drum. It even comes with instructions on how to play well known songs. This will make a lovely gift.
