SawgrassVirtuoso SG800 (Ricoh based) Complete Sublimation Printer Kit Ink set + 100 sh paper

So far so good! I have had this printer for 8 months. Have made lots of shirt with it. Does a good job.

The printer will not create a sublimation that will transfer, I contacted to seller and they said they couldn't help to contact Sawgrass. Only transferring shadows.

Printer does great job of printing, BUT...it's internal software is horrible. Error codes galore - for no reason, and when you get one and clear it, the print job is gone, but the printer shows "waiting...". Have to unplug to get a real reset, and this only works half the time. For every hour of actual print time, We spend 20-30 minutes of error-reset-unplug-warmup-restart. The machine cannot figure out which print tray to use, despite being told. If you have paper in both, it will choose the wrong one. As the title states, this thing is just plain stupid.

You spend $1,600 on a machine in July and they expect you to spend $300+ on ink. So we opted to use non sawgrass ink that was half the price. The ink produced higher quality and more vibrant images. Well I guess they caught on and sent out an update this week and caused anyone who was using non sawgrass ink to put water marks on anything you printed. When we called they said they wouldn’t do anything to fix it, the only way to correct is to purchase their $300+ ink and it would fix the problem. So all they did was throw a tantrum because people were saving money and then chose to sabotage their machines. They told us we can use other software to print, however our machine is stuck in an error mode. There customer service is terrible, as soon as they we told them about the ink we were using they became completely arrogant and unwilling to help at all. I highly recommend you to stay away from this company! Because now we have a 3 month old $1,600 Paperweight.

If your looking into sublimation for small format 11x17" or buying optional bypass tray to get 13x19 print area this is your best choice! Fast printer with quality prints. Comes with the ability to sun with your own design software or you can use theirs. Only thing is they make it seem their design software has this awesome graphics choices and it doesn't. I switch back and forth between sawgrass design software and my adobe illustrator. Still a great buy. Buy with confidence.
