What can I say....If you are a non-believer in sci-fi films, then maybe you will change your mind after watching this film. It really opens your eyes to the possibility that there are other life forms in this world. I myself have always been a believer in aliens & flying saucers but that's just me. Now back to the film. I thought the film has a great storyline. The actors were very good & came across as very believable. They did their job very well in my eyes. I even kept up to speed with the subtitles which weren't an issue to read.I found this film really enjoyable & I would happily watch it again. Well worth my 5*.Sit back with your popcorn & open your mind to endless possibilities in this film... Enjoy...

When Area Q starts you might think that it is going to be just another movie where people relate their stories of alien abduction and then there is some sort of reveal in the end. But things change around the 40 minute mark and another story begins to emerge - one I didn't expect. I wasn't sure how it was going to pan out but I quickly got caught up in the new direction and ended up thoroughly enjoying this film. It's quite long at 110 minutes but there's plenty to keep you interested. Characters are introduced along the way but they are well established and each of the main characters plays an important role in the advancement of the storyline. And the end left me feeling satisfied and happy that this was time well spent. This would have been great on Blu-ray as there is some great scenery. The biggest problem was the audio - the music can be very boisterous and for much of the time the dialogue gets lost. It doesn't help that there is some very heavily accented English spoken. But don't let that put you off.

Don't look at the dvd sleeve as its not a true reflection of the movie no alien army or spacecrafts drawing people up into them lots of bright lights but no aliens as you might expect having said that the story is ok one or two wooden performances but overall not a bad attempt apart from a weird ending

Beautiful...subtle references to the ‘Indigo and Crystal’ people? No OTT visual effects when portraying Spiritual and Sci Fi element thankfully, wonderful scenic shots, felt very real with an important message for us all. Really enjoyed the reflective slower pace.

Isaiah Washington is a fine actor. But I've had a long held theory that some actors should stay firmly in front of the camera and not behind it . This film just confirms it. Isaiah takes himself far to seriously.The premise of this film is that Aliens have been abducting people from a small Brazillian town for years. An interesting theory except that the locals don't seem to concerned about it. And by the end of this film niether was I. Also the ending was to ridiculous to even talk about, so I won't.Its a real pity because I have no doubt that this is a serious subject and questions need to be asked from our leaders. I learnt nothing from this film.

wonderful scenery , made the movie for me, plus a decent soundtrack & good acting.The story builds as the movie progresses & is quite believable.The cover art is misleading & thankfully there are no scarey aliens & UFOs , so it you're looking for a horror/ slash / alien monster , then you will be disappointed.some good ideas about abduction , I won't bore you with my personal opinion , it's a nice movie, good story & a fairy tale ending.

Genuine Sterling Acting performance, by Isaiah Washington! Made us belive it's a possibility and that Brazil is a Hotspot, besides the US.

An absolutely awful film turn it off couldn’t justify finishing it
