I purchased this camera for its affordability, and for the features it claimed. However, for the price, I did not expect all too much. I have been extremely, pleasantly surprised. I ride a scooter in NYC, and have always thought it smart to keep a 'dash cam' on the scooter, both for possible accidents, and also as a security measure when locked outside, without a GoPro-style camera poking out above the top of my helmet. With the purchase of a new, more expensive scooter, I decided to try this out.I have only just begun to familiarize myself with the device, but have had nothing but positive experiences through this process. The clarity of both onboard recordings and of remote video to my phone are exceptional for the size and price. The footage is completely sufficient for capturing detail when it's needed. Frame rate is not amazing, but it doesn't feel inconsistently laggy or blurred. The onboard controls are simple and accessible. The size, weight and design leave no room for disappointment.The accompanying app has surprised me for its functionality and stability, ast least on the Android platform, where I am testing it. I have had absolutely no issues with connecting to the device, maintaining connection with it, streaming from it, or configuring it. Configuration options are extensive, without going overboard, and every form of customization I've thought to seek has been available. It is lovely to not need a third-party, monthly service to make use of a security camera.Wanting to be able to check on my scooter from inside a coffee shop, I simply have the camera connect to the hotspot on my phone. The camera's wi-fi radio works exceptionally well for the fifty feet of distance where I sit, maintaining a perfectly stable connection; I actually can't believe how well it works. The unit has also worked flawlessly with the microSD card I installed, for when I am stationed further away, though, of course the inherent issue is that if a thief manages to take the scooter, they'll also be taking the camera. Que sera, sera, as they say.BTW, the motion detection works perfectly, too.It would be a great step forward if WIWACAM were to offer a version with a built-in battery. However, with my having secured a small, portable USB power bank inside my scooter, I am able to get hours of footage without issue.If you need a small device on your vehicle, the WIWACAM can be made to work perfectly for this use case. Proceed without concern. This is a surprisingly solid product.

Not reliable, which is the one quality you need from a security device.After a few days, red warning lights started blinking. I had to restart the camera a few times a day to clear out these lights. Obviously, this is not a high-end camera, but it functions very well, and was easy to set up once I installed the app from the manufacturer.I purchased it due to concerns that I have about footage disappearing on my main closed circuit camera while I am dealing with a stalker, so it is concealed and watching my DVR unit.The setup is very straightforward, the app works well though it does occasionally have to be restarted to connect properly, and the image quality is more than good enough to get identifying information of anyone it records entering my house.

This camera was exactly what i was looking for. It hides well in a dark spot, it’s small, but the quality is really good for how small it is and it’s clear. I bought a battery pack for $10 on amazon and it lasts all day and barely used any charge of the battery, so it hides well with a battery pack. The motion alert works perfect and u can even get notifications about it. This is perfect and in my budget.

Worked for a little while now none of the buttons on the app respond and the videos endlessly load and will not play. Video quality is very low when it did work.

This little camera is great. The picture quality is really nice. Not blurry or distorted. The night vision is also great. Clear video. The features are also good. Motion detection and sending you notifications is a nice feature.
