This external charging cable works for PW-999UL, so you can charge the battery separately without the wheelchair. Some of our users may not want to bring the whole wheelchair in and out of the car, so with this External Charging Cable, you can just take the battery and charge it inside the house.

i was not happy at this item as i have 2 batteries and ...
i was not happy at this item as i have 2 batteries and wanted duel lead to go to main charger so 2 could have been charged together;but they dont make one, only the one that goes on the chair to batteries which you can charge but if you leave chair in car and extract batteries to take in house you have to use this item on each one in turn so double your time doing it etc but the lead itself does do the job albeit to only one at a time and very expensive for 6inch short lead but half that price is postage still should be able to get things like that over here i would have thought.I contacted shirley in malaysia who was very very helpful and pointed all the above out as to this being the only way to do it externally and also both batteries must be fully charged at same time not one half full and other full ,as this could cause damage to batteries so that was also helpful to know as 2 of them costing £540 to replace would be costly to say the least
