Great water based Acrylic paint pens at a great price
Exceeded my expectations for quality and performance. Colors are very good- they included a couple of colors that are not what I usually receive in sets of this size but that I use often and am happy to have. The paint does dry a little more chalky / matte looking than I expected, but not enough that I consider it a drawback. The red could be just a tiny bit redder (less orange-red) and the gold a smidge less brassy (less orange yellow) but again not enough of a concern to consider it a problem. The nibs are keeping their shape with my frequent use and the paint flows nicely.I am very happy that I chose this set to purchase. If you are having problems consider these suggestions:- If you tip is drying too much during use, it will slow the flow of fresh paint to your piece; resulting in flakes and rough paint on the piece, gloppy thick paint, and skips in the flow. This will happen if the caps are left off of the pens too long, also from dry air (whether natural low humidity or use in heated or air conditioned rooms, or windy/drafty conditions). If this happens wipe the nib off on a paper towel or lint free cloth *dampened* with distilled water to remove the goopy crusty flakey paint, recap the pen, shake it 5-10 times, the let it rest lying on its side for a few minutes. Before proceeding to use it again shake it 10-20 times with the cap on, then prime it if necessary.- If the nib gets "contaminated" with another color, scribble it on a piece of clean paper to transfer off the offending pigment. Rotate the pen to clean all parts of the nib. Do not prime your pen until all of the foreign pigment color has been removed to prevent contaminating the paint in the barrel.- Always store your pens lying on their side.-Apply color in strokes, not by scrubbing. This will give you even coverage and do less damage to the nib.- Too many passes over the same area will remove the paint instead of adding more coverage. When this happens the best solution is to remove the paint from that area and start over, and practice getting your desired coverage in 1-2 stroke passes only.- NEVER use anything but fresh clean distilled water or a rewetting agent specifically designed for use with your pen on the nib. Tap water contains bacteria and other particles bad for your paint, saliva is a big no no, and other liquids can change the color and consistency of the paint (or even break it down totally).- For permanence seal your work with a water based spray sealer in the finish of your choice (matte, semi gloss, etc), or look up tutorials on how to seal your work on glass, metal, etc with heat or other methods.I hope you find this all helpful.

Wonderful!
3 stars! The pens I recieved that worked, work Great! I have about 7 that don’t work, the paint won’t make it to the top I’ve flipped the tip but the paint doesn’t Stay so it can flow easily. I’m not sure if I’ll return yet because if I get all new pens. 1. It’s a lot of work to get the paint flowing and there’s a chance they all can work, or none. I think it’s worth a try for the price.UPDATE: Changing my review to 5 stars, customer service was outstanding and sent me new set for the trouble! And these ones all work! So thankful and grateful for such wonderful customer service! These pens are compareable to the posca pens but much better price! Will definitely recommend and I will be buying again!

Keep buying them
My autistic son LOVES to color blank action figuer models. We have bought this brand in varying sizes for....gosh, has to be over two years on Amazon. I've even used them for stencil work.Very nice. Lots of different colors. Dries well.I do wish we could recycle them, u fortunately with the paint in them, they can't be.Long lasting, easy to use.

Liked the ones that worked
I ordered this 24 pack of Paint Markers for my wife and kids to paint rocks.Everybody was excited when they got here and couldn't wait to use them. They followed the directions in priming them and the first couple worked great. Then they started finding ones that didn't work or ones that would stop working after drawing a line. They would re-prime it, but its like the paint was dried up inside. My family is very disappointed in this product. In all, over half of them did not work. I would not recommend buying these paint pens. I am probably going to return them (I guess you get what you pay for.)

Nice markers
I ordered these as a gift for my teenage daughter and she loved them. She uses them often for manga drawings. They are only two months old at this point, so I don't know how long they'll last before they start drying out, but they were worth what we paid. She is new to drawing this style of art, so we didn't want to spend an arm and a leg for the more high end markers. She was happy with them as a birthday gift.

Wont regret this purchase
These are great. The ink flows so nicely. Takes a long time to get em going but when they do...!!! The colors are good...lots of my favs...but they are like dingy in a way...theres a sea green and it's just muddy sea green ...not many would notice that though. Anyway super pleased and If i cant figure out a way to refill them i totally would buy them again... you won't regret

Four dry markers
I bought this for my daughter and she said that four of the markets were dry. I would have returned them but she didn’t want to since she enjoyed using them. They would be great if they all worked and lasted longer.
