Use the 12 month warranty!
I bought this for my 4th grade son to use as a backpack for school. It worked fine as a school backpack but a few months into his 5th grade year it started to fall apart. If you’re looking for something other that the backpack offered in sporting goods stores this is a good product that will last the year. I don’t think this is a good item for outdoors day trips. I don’t think the material would last long. With that said I didn’t realize the seller offers a 12 month warranty so I’m writing this review to remind customers to take advantage of the offer.

This pack is made perfect. I haven't found anything cheap about it besides the buying price!
UPDATE 2: MY NEW PACK ARRIVES TOMORROW. I'M VERY EXCITED. It has never failed me in a year of heavy use. Some others rating talk about the zippers. It's not hard to get a zipper to reconnect. TAKE A FEW MINUTES AND LEARN THIS. ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. I just hope my new one is as good as this one. And also, learn how to sew by hand. Very easy. I've carried this pack basically everywhere I go. Its It's my truck Medic Pack off duty for neighbors, strangers, and any car or other accident I might come across from. I'm a First Responder and my medium medic kit is in it.This is a fantastic backpack.Update 6/16/2020;I have used this pack daily as my medic kit and much more. It's starting to fall apart and the second main compartment has a zipper that will not zip. This thing is a beast. I've spent way more and been given some of the best. This beats all of them. He has held up to all conditions and exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this to anyone. The padded compartment has held a Ar500 plate, Camelback, laptop, and at some situations, canned and plastic drinks. This is the Swiss Army Knife of packs. Also I'm 6'5"and 240. Always comfortable. I will be getting more.Update 9/9/2020: My second pack must be a lemon. I've barely used it and its tearing all over. I'm a week past free returns. Will NOOLA replace this with another? I might have received a lemon. My first was amazing. This one is nothing like it. I've hardly used it after a knee surgery last month. Thanks.

Travel backpack
I use this backpack when I take little trips. I also use it as an emergency backpack. I love all the pockets within pockets on this thing.

Is recommend it, unless you're packing a bunch of sharp or pointy things
A good amount of room, I like the waist strap and the chest strap, it also has plenty of adjustment options. I'm overall quite happy with it, the only reason it didn't get 5 stars is just because of the thin and seemingly cheap materials used on the bag itself and the straps. It seems that it wouldn't take much for something inside the backpack to poke through. With that said, it's absolutely great for the price. Maybe it's made with surprisingly strong yet thin material and im ignorant to the technology. Carbon fiber also feels thin and cheap, but regardless it's absolutely great for the price and suits all of my needs thus far. One pet peeve of mine is zippers, and the zippers seem to actually be made of relatively high quality materials and doesn't catch or snag, and operates quite smoothly. If it had higher quality materials it would easily be a three figure price point. I've o ky had it for a week or so, so I'm only giving first impressions.

Not bad, but I'm waiting for it to fail
UPDATE: It's been a couple months now, I'm lowering my review from 4 to 2 stars.I really wanted to like this, I gave it a good go, in fact the return window on it just closed else I would return it.The biggest problem: The main compartment only has one zipper pull. I.e. It will only open from one side, and unzipps nearly all the way around. (The zipper begins and ends just under the bottom corners of the bag.) So there's no being able to open just the top and reach in. If you want to lift something out from the top, you have to completely unzip the right side at least. Also, the zipper qualities aren't great. They're certainly not YKK and feel very cheap. And finally, the shoulder straps are kinda thin, and there's something off about their placement. I've had MANY a knapsack and bookbag in my life, and every one of them you could one-shoulder just fine. This feels very awkward doing that. And maybe it's just not meant to, that's fine. But on both shoulders the straps feel awkward and thin.Man I really wanted to like this. Guess I'm going to have to donate it and keep looking.ORIGINAL REVIEW:It's pretty OK. If I'd paid $5 -$10 less for it I'd be very pleased. If I'd paid any more than I had, I'd be very disappointed. My main complaint is that the main compartment only has 1 zipper, and the zipper extends down past the bottom of the bag. Which makes it great for opening it up completely and flat, but means you HAVE to grab the zipper from the bottom and unzip the whole compartment at least halfway to get into it. It really needs to have 2 zippers. The middle/second-largest compartment has 2 zippers, so you can have them closed anywhere along the track and reach just a hand in.My other main complaint is the zipper feel cheap. Both the teeth and the zipper pull itself. I feel like it's a matter of time before the pull skips and jams and it opens up where it should be closed, etc. Honestly, I'm looking into finding a seamstress to completely replace at least that main pocket zipper with a 2-pull, sturdier one. That will probably cost as much as I paid for the bag. But, that's really the only complaint I have. The shoulder pads are only lightly padded, that can be improved, but the Molle, the nylon material, the pockets, everything else is just exactly what I want. It's just those darn zippers I am so expecting to fail if I look at them wrong....

Good, inexpensive bag.
Comparing this to having owned regular Army assault packs and larger Camelbak assault style packs, I would say that it will not last as long as either if put to hard use. You are getting what you pay for, but I have no complaints with it. The area that holds the bladder is water resistant or waterproof, which is nice because my bladder leaked on a motorcycle ride and it did not end up getting things in other compartments wet. This is a decent pack for doing basic camping, hunting, or whatever and has enough space for a few days supplies.
