Quality over quantity
If I could give this a ten I would! I'd heard about this coffee over the years as being some of the best in the world and so I had to try it. Cost-wise to be honest there was hesitation but, you get what you pay for and this being an exotic coffee that has even been in movies I figured what the heck let's give it a try. So glad I did! The flavor and richness were amazing! The shipping was a bit delayed but, I understand the seller doesn't control the postal service so no dings there. Overall, great coffee!

Skeptical at first, but this is hands down, the best coffee I've ever had!
I have to admit, I was skeptical about trying this, because I wondered if I would really notice that much of a difference in taste, or if it was just hype. On the surface, they look like normal coffee beans. Well, the difference was very noticeable. With other coffee, we don't really think about having a bit of bitterness and aftertaste, because that's just what we're used to. When that's gone, it's striking how smooth it is. So yes, I can say that this was actually the best coffee I've ever had. And by a big margin. If it was within my budget to do so, I'd drink it every day. Seriously. There's some controversy about the production of luwak coffee beans, because there are some suppliers who use unethical practices like caging and force feeding. But it's important to remember that's not the whole industry. So look into some information about the company and their practices before you make your decision. That's why I'm happy to support Kopi Luwak Direct instead of another company.

A Must Try!
Finally trying the famous Luwak coffee and it’s every bit as good as the reputation preceding it. My family agrees this is the best coffee we EVER had with the just right balance of richness, flavor, acidity and smoothness. It’s expensive, sure, but worth it if you’ve tried coffee all over the world and can honestly say this is the best coffee of them all. Better yet, it’s the best gift you can receive.

Too small for the price
Should have read the package better! You can make maybe 5 cups of coffee from this bag. Not worth it not returnable

Tasted good but not worth the money
I did the pour over method for this strain of coffer tasted great no bite or anything like most coffee very smooth. To me momeyvisnt an issue but still not worth the money to me ill stick to my espresso beans. Dont get me wrong it taste good just not worth the extra bucks in my opinion. I wont be purchasing again. Also drink 2 cups and i got no energy out of it. I drink one double shot of espresso im good all day 2 cups of this and i went to the gas station a hour or so later for a monster coffee energy drink.

Good experience, but expensive
When I decided to buy this coffee, I had high hopes that I'd take the first sip and be completely blown away.My good friend Ryan and I both consider ourselves well versed in the coffee "conversation."We wanted to brew it with the highest quality, so we took a French press. Based on previous positive experiences, a French press produces a significantly better taste in a normal cup of coffee. The steps we took were as follows ;1. Coarsely grind the coffee beans (they come whole)2. Measure out 2 tbsp for every 6 oz of coffee3. Bring (we used bottles) water to just under a boil4. Allow 4 minutes for the brewing process for best resultsHere's my actual review.Honestly, it's like that of a nice cup of coffee..smooth, and not as bitter as a regular cup of joe.Pros• bold, fresh taste• no acidic taste left in the mouth in comparison to others• smoother than your "average joe" (haha)Cons• not worth the $80• smooth, but not as smooth and heavenly as described by other reviewers• not much, if at all better, than a specialty cup you would purchase at your average commercial coffee shopOverall, it definitely makes for a nice cup of coffee. Would I taste it and ask, "wow! This is exquisite! Where did you buy this?" Well, no. It's really not worth $80 if you're looking for an "out-of-this-world" flavor. However, I have 110% respect for how it's produced. At the very least, it's certainly a conversational piece, even though you'll be paying out the ass for it. Just be sure to mention where it comes from AFTER you let your friends drink it.
