Good lghts reasonable price.
Wow this is a bright headlight, even on the low setting and the strobe should prove effective even on a full sunshine day.I purchased two for my new recumbent trike the rear lights are going on my marker flag poles just under the flags. My trike is being custom made and these lights will add quite a bit of safety day and night. As marking lights and road lights.Let me also add they are not cheap in construction or materials.

So far so good - fits my Samsung
So far so good - fits my Samsung. The only problem is the design makes it slap up and down when you run. If it had a second band at the bottom or a wider band. But overall, sturdy and I like it.

I am very happy with this light
Update: 9/4/2017: The light continues to perform and my concerns over the mount appear to be unfounded. I've hit major bumps on my commute and the light stays put.I am not getting the 2 1/2 to 3 hour battery run time in high mode; it's closer to 1 1/2 hours but this is not bad considering how lightweight the unit is. In flash mode, it will run 6 hours as advertised. I run this in flash mode during daylight hours as an extra safety measure and many of my rides are 6 hours long or more.Regarding charging the light, the housing on many micro usb cables is too wide to fit into the USB charging opening. You either need to use the one provided or carefully select your own. I discovered this the hard way. Also note, that when the unit is charging, you cannot use the light. So for long rides, having an external battery pack to extend the battery life won't work, unless you charge the unit while it is off and of course bring a compatible charging cable.Original Post: I am very happy with this light. Previously I had a Serfes 550 which served me well for 6 years. This light claims 1,000 lumens. I can only say it is brighter than the Serfas 550 and that light has been tested and verified to be accurate. Most importantly it is bright enough to see the road ahead and certainly makes you visible. I commute year round and assuming this light hold up well in the rain,, I believe it will be more than adequate for the job especially if you combine it with a helmet light such as the Light and Motion VIs 360. I highly recommend the combination of a bike light with a helmet light as this makes it easy to see around corners and also comes in handy if you're fixing a flat in the rain. The light comes with a helmet mount. Since I already have a helmet light, I used this second mount on a second bike by improvising with some shorter velcro straps. In general, the mounts provided seem to work though they feel flimsy To play it safe, I put the provided strap around my bars in case the latch were to give out. Time will tell. It would have been nice to have a few more rubber inserts to better adjust the fit. I used the thicker pad provided and squeezed it pretty tight to get it to attach to my standard 31.8 mm handlebars. The good news is that the bolt doesn't protrude with this configuration, and that was something that could be a concern in the event your knee ends up striking it.If you have more than one bike, I think you would do well to buy a second mount or improvise with the helmet mount. Removing the mount from the bike is not a 5 second job.I like the on/off/mode select sensor switch. Yes, you need to be aware that it doesn't take much to turn on the light or switch modes but as long as you're not staring at the light when you're charging, mounting, or removing the light, you should be fine. I also like that the charging point is accessible even when the light is mounted on the bike. The front light also came with a tail light. I had not planned on using the tail light, but found that it clips on nicely to the back of my helmet band. I had one rider ask if it was part of the helmet. Certainly an unexpected bonus.I may give this a 5 star rating if the mounts prove to be robust. I may modify the review up or down once I put some more miles on it. I also am curious to see if riding in the rain will affect the on/off/mode switch.

High quality product
This is a high quality product. Headlight is very bright, easy to remove for charging or using with included helmet mount. Red led lights when battery is low, a second one lights when recharged, and then both off when unplugged. The solid state switch seems to be capacitive so it won't work with gloves but that's ok with me since it always seems like a mechanical switch is the thing that breaks first. The included taillight does have a mechanical switch. Very pleased with product, hope it lasts.

Plenty of brightness and reliability for the money, and the downsides are negligible.
Overall, these lights have been great! The real selling points for me were 1) long run time, 2) rechargeable, and 3) water resistant. I've been using this light for a few months now, and have had a chance to test all three selling points.1) The run time is pretty close to what they have advertised. I mainly use the flashing feature, and with that I tend to get about 4hrs of battery life. The rear light always lasts longer, but I haven't tested to see just how long since it's easier to charge it when the front light goes out. The light does give you a warning when it's running low, which is nice for avoiding a dead light in the middle of your ride!2) The lights do seem to take a bit longer than advertised to charge, but I'm not sure that's something that I can attribute to the light itself, since I'm sure the power source has a big impact. I would definitely allow 4hrs minimum to fully charge.3) This was definitely the most pleasant surprise. They do advertise that the light is water resistant, but it held up much better than expected. I commute by bike most days, including in the rain. I have taken this light through a really torrential downpour, and it didn't have a single problem. The back light seemed to also work fine through the rain, although it is under the seat, so I'm not sure how much water it was really exposed to.As far as downsides: I'm not a fan of the smart touch button. I've accidentally turned it on and off, or changed the setting, many times. I would greatly prefer an old-fashioned raised button - it would be harder to mis-click and work with gloves. I would also like if the handlebar attachment was a little tighter. I have it cranked down as far as I could get it, and the light still has a little wiggle.Overall, this is a great light for the money. Plenty of brightness and reliability for the money, and the downsides are negligible.

I ordered this for my dad when he rides his bike to work. He was asking for a brighter light since he rides home when its dark and this light is perfect. Its extremely bright and the light spreads wide too so the whole path in front of you is easy to see. The red light for the back, while small, is also very bright. It charges quickly and holds the charge for a very long time. The installation is easy and the price is right for the product. If anyone rides their bike in the dark this headlight is the way to go

I like the multiple headlight settings - bright/not-so-bright/blinking
WOW! This thing is BRIGHT! I've only used it a couple times and haven't had to charge it yet, but so far this is a very well-made, quality headlight/tail light set. I like the multiple headlight settings - bright/not-so-bright/blinking. I will probably use the less-bright setting to prolong the running time. There are also multiple blink patterns on the tail light. The headlight could also be used off the bike as a very bright flashlight. Good product at a good price.
