The product I had received was not working. It doesn't blink after turning on. And doesn't even connect to the TrackR App.I request the team to test the product before sending them to customers.

This is a pretty good tracker with a couple of limitations. First the good. It is small enough for most uses and can be attached to a key ring or adhered to an object with the included adhesive disk. It has a speaker for location identification when triggered by the phone. The phone app works with Alexa so I can ask Alexa to ring my phone in case I misplace that around the house too. Finally, set up was easy and the Bluetooth connection has been reliable so farNow for the not so good. The range for the phone to detect the device is about 15 feet without any obstructions with my new Galaxy S8. That is way different than the 109ft the application predicted during the setup and testing. Next, there is a lag with the app detecting the device. This is important because the way the app helps you find the device is by letting you know when you are getting closer or moving farther away. So the combination of the short range and lag means I have to walk slowly around the house to find my keys.

This is my first review here on Amazon, and I'm only writing it because this is a phenomenal product. I am constantly traveling for work related purposes, I slap this thing on luggage and never worry again. I've tested it out on pet collars too and it worked perfectly. I was skeptical at first but now that I have one, I think I'll be getting more for family and friends. This thing is super tiny and doesn't bulk up existing key chains, etc. It's affordable and worth the purchase if you're having any doubts. Attached is a pic of it on my current key chain so you can see how small but useful this thing is.

I just got mine today and I was super excited to set it all up and when I went to turn on the actual device I noticed it looked like something was missing from the middle like a little hole or something and it wouldn’t turn on or do anything! I feel like I got a defective device or something!

I think it’s great that they will replace the batteries for free but I literally pushed the button on mine twice before I got the “critically low battery” notification. So now I have to wait 15 days or so and may eventually have a product that works.Oh and the price dropped $3 right after I got it. Honestly, returning it and buying a new one is probably a better option than waiting 15 days for a battery to arrive.
