These are quality cables! The USB and the barrel plug are proper, and molded on with stress reliefs. The wire has considerable insulation, and while I couldn't prove it is 22ga (not without cutting) it "feels" like good wire meaning you know this is not cheap headphone wire. The plug is indeed 5.5mm x 2.5mm but you should NOTE the barrel length is 10mm so be certain this is the size you need! I used a multimeter with a known USB power supply and I received the correct voltage (no major power droop). All good.Many of my power outlets have those USB ports built in, and since these cables are matching white, I can use these to replace "wall warts" and ugly black cables.I mis-calculated thinking these were a match for my 5V night-light which has a broken power supply. It is my fault the but this plug does not fit (I did not have any way to measure and my broken power supply does not specify barrel size). I was still able to test these on my workbench. I will cut the tip off this, and then solder on the plug size I need (from my broken power supply). This is still a good purchase for me as white USB cables tend to be more expensive.

This case is terrific. It is not bulky and it is grippy. When you grab this case to pick it , it grabs you back! This is the closest you can get to a zero-drop solution for a phone case. Not only that, but when you do drop it the case cushions the blow effectively. Nonetheless the glass is not protected, unless you add a screen protector. Nonetheless the case is all i use without additional screen protection. I highly recommend this case.

I bought this to save an outlet by using the USB on the back of my router to power my Philips Hue Gen 2 Hub. It works great and is exactly what I was looking for. If you are on the hunt for a USB to Barrel plug for this use case this does the job perfectly.
