I bought this a few months back and finally got a chance to use this yesterday with a bodyboard and, it is excellent! It held my board well, without any problems.The only problem I had, once opening the box, is that two of the screws were missing (there should be a total of four), I did manage to tighten everything fairly well but didn't go over 30mph, just in case.UPDATED REVIEWSo, Wetsuitoutlet went above and beyond and contacted Northcore who then sent me the missing pieces. That's customer service for you. Thanks very much, with that in mind I've updated my review to 5 stars and highly recommend the product. :)

i initially fitted this to my bike .and after tightening all the bolts fully one of the carrier arms was still flopping around i put my surfboard on it and the damm thing collapsed . so i try and tighten the screws even more and it threads . i contact the seller but didn't get a reply so out of frustration i re-tap the hole and bolt the thing back together as tight as i can and the damm things still flapping around .after examining the welding around the clamp i realise its the welding thats stopping the clamp from tightening and no matter what i do its never going to work this product can not have been through a qc check which is worrying when your on a motorbike . so a month on and i m still looking at a box of useless bits and I'm out £110 which is a lot for this badly made piece of tat.

Si quieres que realmente funcione, tienes que hacer una modificación al rack, que en opinion los que inventaron esto lo debieron haber hecho, como ven en la foto tuve que taladrar para que no se abran o se cierren la barras, porque de otra forma es muy inseguro conducir así ya que con la vibraciones y el viento se move la tabla y te puede dar un buen susto. Entiendo que ya no tengo garantía 😂 pero prefiero andar seguro que con miedo.

Prodotto di qualità media, la vernice salta via solo a guardarla. Provato solo a montarla e sembra già usata da una vita. Vorrei fare il reso ma mi vergogno della condizioni in cui é ora solo per averla poggiata sulla moto. La struttura sembra molto fragile.

Transportiere damit ein Wakeboard welches wahrscheinlich etwas schwerer ist als ein Surfbrett. Wegen den Bindungen am Brett. Deshalb verstellen die Haltearme langsam ihren Winkel. Habe etwas Angst die zwei Schrauben die jeweils einen der Arme fixieren, einfach fest zu ballern. Es wird leider kein maximales Drehmoment angegeben.Die Halterung passt gerade so auf meinen Heckgepäckträger. Die Halterung wird von oben mit einer Pulverbeschichteten Platte verschraubt die von unten an den Gepäckträger kommt. So wird die Halterung an dem Gepäckträger angezogen. Die pulverbeschichtete Platte ist etwas klein und würde (in meinem Fall) zwischen den Streben des Gepäckträgers durchfallen. Ich habe zusätzlich eine größere Platte aus Alu mit zwei Bohrungen dazwischen gelegt.Habe beim Fahren genügen Platz am Bein, das Board hängt hoch genug um in Schräglage nicht gleich am Boden zu schleifen. Habe mich bis jetzt an 70kmh ran getastet aber da schwingt das Brett oder die Halterung schon ordentlich. Die Schwingungen übertragen sich aber nicht spürbar aufs Moped.Alles in allem eine gute Halterung. Ich überlege nur ob ich die Haltearme irgendwie dauerhaft mit der Halterung verbinde. Schweißen oder ein Loch durch bohren und sowas wie einen Stift oder Bolzen einsetze.
