My daughter was going to wear this as the bottom half of her prom dress. The fabric is beautiful and high quality for sure! Sadly she decided against this one because the under-skirting did not flair out with the outer-skirting. That innermost layer was also too narrow and made it hard for her to twirl and even walk longer strides. My daughter said it was a bit on the tight side. But I knew before ordering that would be the case. She usually wears a medium but I ordered the small because it had free shipping 😅. Also she is 5’6” and the skirt went to her ankles while sitting at her natural waist (for length reference). I Forgot to take a pic before returning. Sorry!!

This skirt was just what I had been wanting for pictures. I am 5’6” 135lbs. I ordered a small and the waist fit but was snug. I amGlad I didn’t go any bigger bc it definitely would’ve been too long I think. The tie that comes with the skirt easily covers the gathered/cinched waistline. I love the skirt although, I did feel it made my waist look large and wasn’t super flattering but maybe that just comes with a fuller skirt. The bottom layer of the skirt needs a slit in it because when I walked it restricted my legs too much. It was fine for 30 minutes of pictures. I could’ve put up w it longer and worn it as a bridesmaid’s dress but you just have to take little short steps.

Honey Qiao was fast in delivering this skirt in time for a wedding I was a bridesmaid in. If you order custom sizing and give your heel height, indicate whether the skirt length you want already takes the heel height into consideration or not. While Honey Qiao should have clarified this with me, it sent me a skirt that was 5" longer than what I requested. Since the skirt has A LOT of material, alterations at my local tailor were a significant extra expense and step for me. I didn't see that the sash was tied onto the inside loop (since there is so much flowy material) until AFTER the wedding, when I hung the skirt up by the loops. So look for it there.

The media could not be loaded.  Wow, there is so much to say about this company and this skirt; the detailed seamwork, the option to customize, the prompt shipping, and the amazing communication from the seller. I will start from the beginning. I ordered this skirt for my wedding. I had previously ordered this same skirt in blush and was very pleased with it. So when it came to my wedding, I knew this skirt wouldn't disappoint. However, I wanted to wear it with a petticoat, this would require the inner lining of the skirt to be the same width as the chiffon to accommodate the large petticoat. The seller did offer an option to customize the skirt for only a $10.00 charge. This option did however extend the shipping time past the date of my wedding. I contacted the seller via WhatsApp. I asked if they would be able to customize the skirt and get it here in time. They promptly responded to my request and said they would get it to me as requested, in plenty of time. It arrived earlier than expected and when I opened the package, I was amazed. It was made exactly as requested. I had a full circle skirt that more than accommodated the petticoat. It was the perfect bright white color that was advertised. It flowed BEAUTIFULLY! (see my video and photos). I got so many complements on this skirt. My friend, who is a professional seamstress, was even amazed at the detailed workmanship. Since then, she has ordered two skirts from Honey Qiao. Oh, the beautiful top you see me wearing in the photo was made by my friend. :) All in all, it was everything I could have imagined and hoped for. Thank you Honey Qiao for taking the time to do such a good job on this skirt, promptly responding to my requests and ensuring the skirt arrived in plenty of time. There are only 2 things I didn't like about this skirt. 1) The lining is a TUBE. The chiffon outer layer is lovely and very full but I could barely get into the lining. I had to cut it off and put in an A-line lining just to be able to walk and sit down in it. 2) The seam in the center back is unsightly. Since there is no back zipper, there is absolutely no reason to have a seam there, especially since the whole front is fuller AND is cut as one piece.The length is great for me - I'm 5 ft. 9 in. tall and it is just above floor-length with flats and still looks nice with heels.

I originally purchased this in "blush" but decided it's not really my color (but it was so beautiful!). So I went ahead and purchased it in burgundy to wear to a winter wedding. I am way more comfortable in dark colors.After inspection of the blush one, I had no hesitation purchasing another color. I found the fabric, seams, and lines to be good quality. and It doesn't look cheap.I don't like the elastic waste band, But who does. But it feels snug, keeps the dress in place and isn't bad for an elastic waste band.. But it is easily covered with the sash (I just wrapped it twice and tied it with a bow.It is a very long dress. But I got a quote from a local seamstress who will hem it for $10.00. ill be bringing it up a little in the front and leaving the back long and flowy. I am 5'6 and will be wearing heels and it it just a tad too long. but easily fixed!Also.. Last they ship the dress inside out, I liked this cause it does protect chiffon fabric . When it arrives use your brain and flip it right side out before you freak out and say it is terrible. After you wear it I would also recommended flipping it inside out before storing.

At least two sizes too small. I ordered an XL--I normally wear a size 16 or 14 skirt when it is an A-line style. This skirt has a lining that was skin tight, but the outer chiffon part was obviously too small as well.

This is a beautifully made skirt with high quality materials, however it wasn't very flattering on me. I'm normally a medium but I ordered a medium and a small. The small had the best fit but I just couldn't get over how unflattering they both looked on me I had to return.

I like the skirt. It is long, the material seems of a good quality, and the lining is full lenght. My only doubt is about the colour; I ordered Ivory but it might not match the other pieces of the outfit I planned on wearing. Might buy again in another colour instead, but that's on me. Also, I did not get a sash with the skirt.

Do not buy spend a tad extra and buy from bhldn, this is the store the design is from.The quality is horrible and the static is unrealI will use this for nothing more than dress up with my kid
