I got these k-cups for work baised on the high-caffiene content and great price point. I didn't expect it to taste so good! It's smooth and not bitter. There is a slight residue in the cup, which I actually like. That's indicative of a stronger, more finely ground coffee. The residue left in the cup makes the coffee stronger. It's also unavoidable in espresso styled and stronger k-cups.

I put off leaving this review because I didn't want to share my secret weapon. If you are sensitive to caffeine, do not order this. I have been drinking strong coffee and quad shot espresso for years and this had me hearing colors for the first two weeks. I no longer need multiple cups of coffee to get through my night shifts.

For the price and quality, I do not recommend this. There are other products for a similar price that are much more robust. There is basically no caffeine in this (or nothing like Red Goat or Death Wish) and it is so watery. Not to mention it tastes burnt, like drinking burnt toast.

I'm not a fan of dark roast coffee due to the butt flavor; however, this is borderline medium roast/dark roast. It actually has a good flavor to it, and not very bitter. It doesn't have the full 'organic' bean flavor either, but there is a hint of it there.Overall, I'll definitely be purchasing more of this for myself. The wife can't tolerate caffeine to the extent that I can.

I picked up a large pack of this coffee on sort of on a whim; was looking for a good price on Kona coffee pods and this popped up in the other items area. The name made me laugh, and the fact that the coffee was supposed to be highly caffeinated was sounding good given the looooong week I was having at work. It arrived quickly, and we tried it out the next morning. As far as being highly caffeinated? I don't know about that; I'd say it was more or less about the same as any other regular coffee. If you're looking for a caffeine fix for a little extra help to pull an all nighter for work or school, this may not be the way to go (any more than any other brand anyway). But it's a solidly decent cup of coffee, smells nice while brewing and is tasty to boot, so I still gave it 4 stars. Not bad at all!

I'm a Huge Dark Roast Fan and had High expectations For this 80 pack of CRANK High Voltage Caffeine Dark Roast Kcup from STACK STREET. It weighs in at 15 grams and contains plenty of Coffee Grinds and brewed a nice dark cup on the 8 oz setting that was visually appealing. These did feel like they had a extra Caffeine kick over my normal French roast. The taste however was not strong or bold like my preferred brand and had a mild flavor that seemed almost stale in comparison. The expiration date on the box label was 4/1/2023 but the individual kcups did not have the expiration date stamped into the plastic like the other Brands I use.These Crank are $0.50 each and the French Roast kcups I normally buy in Bulk are $0.30 each when purchasing a box of 100 at a time.
