The story, the art, and the characters are all great! But...
At long last we've made it past the introductions, the girls all have a foothold in the story, and the mystery of the 'D' character has been put to rest. You'd think everything would be right as rain, but there's still one last issue. One little tiny problem. Who the heck is Kimihito going to marry!? Because we all know there's no possible way he'll end up with a harem end. *wink* Welcome to volume eight, which is all about introducing a bunch of new characters and helping their problems. From a Yuki-Onna running an Onsen to a Nine-tailed Fox at a shrine, it seems as though Kimihito is never going to get a chance to rest. That's the good. The story. The art. The characters. But my friends, Seven Seas has really done it this time. It's almost as if they read my reviews and go "Oh, you though that was bad? How about this!" Their translation has degraded to including the most "American" of phrases, and references to things that didn't even exist when this volume was being made! They are really trying their darndest to ruin this series, and it shows. I grid my teeth while reading what they have done, and feel saddened by the fact that this format is the only way some readers are experiencing this series.

Naughty fun, but a little filler this time!
After Kimihito's house is destroyed by his harem of monster girls, he and his lovely ladies are on vacation. While the house is fixed, their off for the summer. Only the resort they visit is suspiciously surrounded by snow. But the hot springs are warm, and they're mixed gender!Volume 8 has a number of “summer” stories from hot springs, to visiting the shrine holding a festival, to farming. The stories are more focused on a new monster girl than building up the ones we already know. While some of them are sexy (sheering the woolly Merita and exposing her cute body was hot), it would have been nice to get a bit more of the girls. It was a fun volume, with lots of naughty fun, and the monster girls continue to be (for the most part) sexy, but... I was eager for more stories of our core girls.Luckily, volume 8 ends on an interesting cliffhanger that promises some nice Mero fun. In volume 7 we got to learn about our original three monster girls family, now we might be getting into the other ones. I'm excited to see where this story goes!

Love this series
:Love this series. If you're looking for something light and entertaining this is it. The art is beautiful and the stories are great. The main character is a guy who mistakenly ends up receiving the first wave of exchange students from the world (??) of mythological creatures. They are all female, all gorgeous, -- and all off-limits. Unfortunately, they are all after him because he's such a sweetie of a guy. (I might be too in their --shoes??) The lady who is the coordinator for these girls staying with human families is the one who mistakenly roped him into this situation in the first place. She always shows up in time to add another exchange student, re-model his house to fit, and of course, to stop any situations that are becoming "interesting". Personally I'm routing for the centauress Centorea, although I also like Mia the lamia (half-serpent) and Rachnera, a true spider woman, who's a real tough gal (fronting) with a penchant for using webs for bondage on everyone. Others include a mermaid, a harpy, a sweet slime girl, and a Dullahan (?) who seems to be some sort of Scottish agent of death who keeps losing her detachable head. Plunge in and enjoy!

Another hit entry in a series full of laughs, awkward situations, and (respectable) fan service! I cannot wait for more..
Fun and hilarious, like the others. Plenty of steamy action with Kimihito stuck right in the middle, and things don't seem to be cooling down anytime soon with the girls. Quite the opposite, in fact, with a household retreat to a hot spring for liminals, run by a liminal. While in town Kimihito gets dragged off to a Miko shrine where, like usual, things get wild and crazy and outrageous. After the hilarity of helping get the shrine back on their feet, it's time for a friendly visit to the farm managed by liminals and the intensity of the action hits the roof! This series has been solidified as one of my favorite manga to read, for the hot fan service moments in addition to all the outrageous humor and spunky character the cast has.

Still Great!
I won't say much in this review (Just want to get this review thing over with so, yea). Anyway this is the 8th Vol. so by now everyone who is looking here should know how this series go. I still love it and it's on my top 5 list. It's still fun and enjoyable and those ecchi just keep getting better and better. Oh, also the art is getting better too. So, it's a win-win.

If you don't like fanservice or suggestively erotic stories
Ecchi. VERY ecchi. If you don't like fanservice or suggestively erotic stories, this is not for you, even if you like the story. That said, I don't like reviewing books; they're far too subjective in my opinion. What I like, you may not like. These volumes aren't expensive, so buy one, give it a read and decide for yourself.

An awesome experience for ecchi fans
The Monster Musume series is a very unique manga series indeed, Although..It sets in the ecchi/harem style genre...the fresh comedy and interesting characters will make you want more of it's craziness. What makes it different (in my opinion) from the rest, Is the funny portray's of mythological beings in this series..showing off lifestyle's from each being perspective...ofcourse, there's the harem/ecchi moments aswell that intensify the situations.

More monster girl goodness!
At this point, you should have a good idea about what this manga is about. More monster girl fanservicey goodness! I bought this because this volume contains some of my favorite parts in the series. I do agree with a lot of people that the translation kind of sucks compared to the fansubbers.

Great
It's Monster Musume, if you are a manga fan or even an anime fan you will have heard of this, they are fun to read and a little tongue-in-cheek, they are rated as teen for content and my teens enjoy reading then.

Monster Munchies
A Harem Manga to be sure, but quite amusing. Not in the least Dark and Edgy and also not that surprising but definitely not a waste.
