Works extremely well for precision work
I bought this mainly for the flexible shaft that can be used for precision work. I already have a Dremel but it is very old and not variable speed, just on or off. This rotary tool is variable speed and the kit comes with lots of accessories. The storage box keeps everything organized so you can find what you need quickly. I really like the different size collets that can be used for various drill bits. The first project I used this rotary tool on was to drill small holes into stained wooden knobs so they could be attached to 1" diameter wafer cutters. The flexible shaft worked perfectly and I was able to accomplish the work with no misses or mistakes. Excellent price and I was able to bundle this purchase with an additional accessory kit.

Good buy!!
So my dremel disappeared, I needed a replacement. Going through the depot site, and Amazon I came across ones tht were 100$ with the pen style attachment. I really don’t want to pay tht much. Then… This one.. 19$?? Delivered in a few hours?? I don’t need to put on pants?? Sign me UP!!! Showed up, little case solid build, worked perfectly. I’m very happy with this buy. Yes it’s not a name brand, if you use it everyday, maybe a more known product would be safer, but for me?? This is perfect. Also extremely economical!!

A great low cost option.
The flex shaft seemed really cool, but it is difficult to keep it operating properly due to parts disconnecting. I have resorted to using the standard chuck to affix the tools. The included tools are pretty good overall and have suited my needs! The tool itself is a bit large, making it hard to use in tighter situations but it's pretty powerful so I can see why it's as large as it is. The vents near the front aren't in the best position, as I often find myself toasting my fingers and needing to adjust my grip off of them. But for such a low cost, this tool is hanging in there with continuous use so I would still recommend it.

Can’t beat the price
I bought it out of my 20 year old “rotary tool” spun it last spin. This has been working great in it place.

Live saver ,imposible to bid and best value tool
This is a solid 5 star tool ,include the case and many accessorizes ,in my case it save me a lot of trouble and a lot a lot of money , I used to remove a woodruff key that was stuck on my outboard driveshaft and since you can control the speed and the cutting disk (1 1/4") in size was the perfect toll for this situation,It does get hot when you used at full speed so plan to take your time but for the cost (5 times less than a dremell) is impossible to ask for more .

Started great, after 12 hours of easy work it's garbage. Buy a dremel.
Ok, you get what you pay for so it wasn't totally shocking when this thing only lasted a week. Unfortunately I bought it during a pandemic shopping spree a year ago and only just put it to work on a project I decided to do as a gift (a ring, not exactly a massive undertaking!). At first I was thrilled! Honestly it was everything it was supposed to be - quiet, had a really surprising amount of torque, battery didn't last long but not terrible, considering... I was really happy. I also have a battery powered dremel (ostensibly for cleaning golf balls but honestly good enough to accomplish most tasks.) I'd also bought a set of diamond burrs during the pandemic shopping spree (much better than what it comes with)... was really pleased.Almost immediately I noticed the burs would come loose while working - at first I thought I had the wrong collet in, but that wasn't the case. I'd lock the chuck and tighten everything as much as possible, then release it and confirm it was tight... but oem or diamond burr they'd end up lose - it's something with the chuck, I suspect there's just a bit of wiggle room for it to loosen. Sometimes it'd stay right and other times it wouldn't. Who knows, maybe it was my error. So anyway it ended up throwing burrs across the room randomly. Then I noticed how quickly it'd get hot. My battery dremel doesn't have this problem, but the WEN also has a higher speed setting and good torque, so it was annoying to keep taking breaks but not the end of the world, I was still pretty happy for the price. Similarly on a higher RPM setting the battery doesn't last all that long, but that's to be expected it was acceptable for the price. What did it in for me was after being used for about a week the bearing started to wear out and unbalanced the chuck which would make it vibrate like crazy and make this TERRIBLE noise. So much for quiet. I know to seat the burrs as deep as they'll go and let the tool do the cutting - not to apply a lot of pressure to the burr by pushing on the tool. Oh, and after it'd get unbalanced it'd shut itself off pretty quickly if it touched anything (which is good for safety but not so good if your tool is permanently unbalanced). I got around that for about a day by flipping the tool so the opposite side was facing towards the project, thereby using the un-worn-out side of the bearing (or whatever had gone wiggly). For a bit it'd go back into balance when I did that and I could use it again - being even more careful about pressure. Finally that side gave out as well and it won't go back into balance. It just turns off when asked to put out any torque. Presumably that's the same problem other people are having, with it turning off. It's useless, I got maybe 12 hours of work out of it and it's absolutely toast. I don't think I got a defective one because at first it was great! I think it just isn't up to working and wearing. My little battery dremel has been put through hell and back for a couple years, doing literally everything I asked of it. And since my Wen crapped out I've been using that little dremel on the project and it's had absolutely zero problems (the only thing with it is constantly buying and changing batteries, and getting caught without new batteries when you're at an important stage of a project).Save your money, buy a bottom of the line dremel. They're not much more expensive but the quality is light years apart.

Doesn't stay charged when put away for a month. Battery seems to drain on its own.
Everything is great except one problem - the battery doesn't hold a charge when the item is shelved.I fully charge it and put it away in its case on a shelf and then a month later when I need to use it, it feels like it's at 20% battery. It's kind of annoying the 4 times I need to use it that I have to charge it.If you plan to use it frequently, then great deal. If you're like me and just want to periodically use it then just plan on a quick charge.
